  • Hello there,

Just a belated sisterly word of support on the ex front. It is really unfair, and the likelihood is that the kids will never see what is really happening - but you will know that you did the right things so hold tight to that. Expect nothing from him and you won't be disappointed. And keep them at Christmas at all costs next year!

To make you laugh - my ex would never have our kids overnight because he thought I would have a man sleeping over if they were out of the house! Ironic considering he was laready living with his GF at the time! And when you have three kids and a full time job there is of course an enormous queue of men taking you out all the time and queueing down the road for your favours............

    He's the loser,

    Love,

    Squirrel

Thanks SSS, I will be keeping the kids here every xmas from now on. I wont be so nice from now on. He is having them this weekend but its almost like a sulky way and I just hope he doesnt take it out on the kids that he hasnt got out of it.
I text him to ask what time he was picking them up, proud that I hadnt risen to his wifes abusive text. He said 2.30 your rules. I said ok thats fine just wondered in case you are out and wanted to pick them up later. he said no not changing any times at all next year, your rules.
He is the one that changes the times all the time not me so we will see who asks for change first eh?
Its amazing SSS that men have double standards isnt it! My ex was like that as well. Asking the kids if a man had stayed over when he was already with someone and they were pregnant within months! grr he makes me so mad

Do we share the same ex? How rubbish.

    I bet you have one;)

pammy I'm very impressed, my ex outlaws haven't bothered to speak to me since he did the dirty, and I think yours has realised the cost of a New Year's babysitter and thought you would do.

Well done for setting out the ground rules, at the risk of being sexist, remember its like puppy training, but exes aren't so cute;)

    Happy New Year.

Hi all, Sorry I have been a bit distant on MFW boards, will come and see how you are all doing later on

Have had £19.52 from TCB :j

Toluna, I have almost reached my max points of 15k on polls and topics so will have to carry on doing 80 word opinions for another 5k and hope to get some good surveys. I am at 46k on there at the mo. But they has took me a lot of hours!! Cant do my personal survey to complete my interest surveys to get my 2k extra, keep trying grrr

NV I should be at £49 but one survey I did yesterday said survey closed when I got to the end. i have sent them an email to make sure I get it as it was £2

Had VO survey so am up to £13 on there with only £8 cleared.
    Ebay is at £22 :j

Have took all my decs down now and all looks bare!

Halifax hasnt updated yet so cannot give my Mortgage balance :(

Kids back at school, me back to work, all things hopefully back to normal. Really want to start doing my comps again as these are the first that go by the way side.
I really need to get the ironing done today, as normal I have left it til the last minute!

Forgot to fill the car up before the vat rise, I am kicking myself doh!

    Well done Pam.

As you know by being my friend elsewhere that me and mine dont have a lot of room for manouvering really. But I am so pleased with myself today.
I phoned the bank.Santander let you book rates and deals up to months in advance of your fixed deal ending.Mine finishes end of April and it is at 5.34% .I have just fixed it at 4.49% for 4 years product fee free.I could have had 3.99% for 2 years pff.But I wanted the 4 to see what happens when these bloomin Tories get booted back out.
With people suggesting they will be lifting the BOEBR to something like 5% Id rather play safe.
Anyhow.Ive told them to up my payment £2 to round it off and to keep it at that when the rate drops 1st May.Im allowed 10% overpayment /£499 max overpayment a month.Which is fine as I have no chance in hell of that.On a balance of £36,604.07 Id be over my 10% if I could.
    Well if I did 12 months,lol.
16years and 3 months left as of today and that needs to come down .But as others have said biggest interest rate off first and although I have 0% deal on CC that needs to come off and need to make sure I don sit in the overdraft for part of the month every month.
As of 1st May I will be overpaying £10.40 without changing a thing.Calculator says that knocks of 11 months whoohoo, lol. If I can match it again that would be great.

I have also left the ironing til last minute and hubby will be home in an hour.I havent even finished getting dressed.Im in jeans with my dressing gown.Cant you tell I pulled them off the ironing pile?lol

As for Toluna its playing up like a right ar*e at the moment. Its not always that bad. When it annoys me I close the page its on and go back on in a fresh tab.xx
