    Hello everyone

I've just got back from a trip to selfridges and its made me feel miserable.

Had intended to buy myself a couple of items to brighten up my wardrobe now it seems that spring is in the air - instead I came away feeling poor, fat and having terrible, terrible hair!

I'm in a strange limbo now between inspired and dispairing - like I know where I want to be, but it seems so far away I don't know if its worth starting the journey if you know what I mean?

Sorry for moaning, I just wanted to tell you all and thought about it all the way home!

    Phil

Sorry to hear you are feeling down.

Try to see this as inspiring. If you start/continue now with the weightloss then future shopping trips will not be the same. If you decide to throw the towel in then in 12 months time you'll be feeling exactly the same as you do now.

Selfridges is enough to depress anyone - especially if you are dealing with debt too!! Even Miss Selfridge does that to me :0)

I totally understand where you are coming from but you should feel proud of yourself for doing something about it - unfortunately it's about keeping it up and its so so easy to have a bad day and let it turn into a bad week, bad month!!

I dont want to get to Summer and still be the same size. Its depressing enough knowing that summer is on its way & the summer clothes & bodies will soon be out - eucchhhhhhhh!!

We can all do it though :0) xx

    Hear, hear.....we not only CAN...we WILL!!!!! Where there's a Cuddle, there's a way...hehehehe.

I had this discussion with my mate this morning over our WW mission....we send each other Morning Motivational Mails to get in the right mindset for the day and remind ourselves of why we're doing it and why we're going to stick to it. On your own it's easy to get depressed and give up....but none of us are alone here and all of us are willing each other on, through the successes and the minor setbacks. Think of it this way Phil, there might not have been anything you fancied in Selfridges, but you got out there and did some exercise so it's a positive for the day!!!

Now....where was I (apart from wondering how much my boobs weigh and can I get that taken off next week's weigh-in? Nutters)......oh yeah....

    1...2...3...4....5...................unclench.......1.....2.....3...4....

Morning Motivational Mails - can you send me some too? ;0) I like the sound of those!!!!!

What I need to do is to trap my own thoughts of when I am feeling unhappy about my weight & then replay them when I reach for that cake!!!!!

I always feel miserable when I use changing rooms in shops, perhaps I should do that every day before I eat :0)

I am lucky in that my housemates & I all go to the gym together in the mornings, although sometimes I let them go & I stay in bed, tee hee!!

    xx

I could also use some of the Morning Motivational Mails!

I once asked my boyfriend if I should weigh my boobs. I think I just confirmed to him that I am insane. Maybe I should show him it's not just me :D

maybe I should try weighing mine too................

btw, if you are trying on clothes in changing rooms... DON'T look in any of the other mirrors, just the one in front of you. That's what I do, otherwise I'm reduced to a gibbering wreck, watching all my wobbly bits at several angles! So I know how you feel Batfink.

I am getting weighed tomorrow... at the same time dreading it and looking forward to it...
Have been having dreams about it too!!! Last one was that I had lost 12 lbs!!! :j
I just hope it's not just a dream, or that in turns into a nightmare and I put on weight... Well still one more night and tomorrow I'll know.
