Have been so good today ... but it is Day 1!

Just putting baked potatoes in the oven for tea/supper. Have made up as huge bowl of salad to go with them and will try to avoid the Hellmans! Have not eaten any choc today despite being offered it by all and sundry.

OH is just cleaning the cars while the sun is still out and I'm just going to get the washing in now ... does that count as exercise??

Will go for a mile walk after tea to get me started on the excercise thing ....

I have just been to Slimming World - and have lost another 1lb :j

I thought it may be a bit more, so must try harder for next week. It is my birthday however next Sunday so I may have an iffy day

Good luck to you all for the week ahead.

Thanks for your support LA and well done Lucifer... that's a brilliant weight loss in such a short time. You have lost what I want to and I've allowed myself until July!! If I could do it in 6 weeks I'd be chuffed but realistically I'm going to be happy with 1lb per week.

Keep it up ... are you doing red or green??

Ummm.... well not a fab day for me :o Gave in to an ice cream and a small piece of fudge :naughty: but I did a nice hard hour's walk in the Brecon Beacons, really enjoyed the exercise!

I weighed myself this morning and am 73.3kg so that will be my starting point, will weigh myself each week.

    Good luck everyone :D

    Well done Lucifer!:T

I've been soooooooooo bad....succumbed to a glass of wine and a WHOLE choccy egg last night  (whilst leching over Michael in Prison Break) so am dreading weigh-in today......may have to be extra good for the next week.

Starting weight of 73.3kg? I'd be delighted to get down to that!!! AND I will with the support of this fab Cuddle!

Hi everyone, Can I join this?

OH and I have made a deal with each other. I'm going to lose some weight and he's going to stop drinking...
I got a shock when I went to register with the nurse a couple of weeks ago, she weighed me and I was 17st! At 5'7 that aint exactly healthy.

OH works nights now, and usually rings me to get a lift home so I've got plenty of time before I start work to take the dog for a walk in the mornings. He was also very good and only bought me a kinder egg for easter so there was little temptation.

Took the dog for an hour walk around the park this morning....too many dogs there so I couldn't let her off the lead for a game with the ball but I was sweating when I got back....must be a good sign?

Oh yes, and having just read about them, I'm doing my buttock crunches as I type! :rotfl:

Poor, poor week for me.. 3lbs back on :( but I did have a great, cider-filled, weekend camping so I should try not to complain since it probably should have been a lot more.. I am back with a vengeance now though and I WILL get rid of the gain for next weeks weigh in. Must get jogging!!

Hello poppycracker - sounds like dog walking is doing you the world of good :T
