Back from my woodland walk. We walked and climbed for well over an hour and somehow even though i can barely feel my legs the kids have more energy than they started with.
Was great fun though and even my 13 year old enjoyed herself which is almost unheard of unless she is enjoying one of her hobbies such as texting, shopping and gossiping

Hello all!
My, aren't you all doing well! Fabbo!
Me? Weighed myself this morning and nothing lost but nothing gained either. However, it is my Special Ladies' Week, so I'm not going to beat myself up and anyway, my baps look tremendous today! :T
Will be spending the evening eating chocolate (because it's the law during Special Ladies' Week) and thinking up lunchbox ideas for your delight and amusement.
On another note, all this mackerel is making me glow! Had tea with a chum on Sunday and she commented on how good my skin looked. "It's the fish oils, dahlink" I confided.
Freebird - your friend might like to substitute pasta and noodles for quinoa. It's a grain but has a high protein content. It's lovely used as a substitute for rice or pasta. I've only ever found it in health food shops, so point her in the general direction of your local Hippy Emporium. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Hi snoozer and jenittels  and well done on your weightloss freebird!
Well, I've had my weigh in today and I've lost 1.5lbs, so I'm happy.
Must up my exercise though, haven't done much at all so far this week. Tomorrow I will be definitely be taking my Gran's dog for a walk round the park.
Also need to increase my fruit intake, I keep picking apples out of the fruit bowl and then not eating them... so tomorrow will try and have a banana as part of breakfast and an apple & grapes for dessert after lunch.0 -
Yay - 3lbs lost this week which is ace being that i had a little gain last week.
Got my first stone off now (been on diet since end of Feb)!
I'm on the Slimming world plan (i'm a vegetarian and the green days are great) but am going to Rosemary conley classes as they do aerobics there - it means no matter what i weigh in at i'm really paying for the excercise class!
Well done on the will power everyone and thanks for all the friendly welcoming comments0 -

Have a great Easter everyone....be good.....but enjoy it!0 -
Everyone is doing so well its great :T
My legs are still aching from that long walk yesterday but its a good pain, or so i tell myself.
I have decided not to weigh myself again until next friday as i know over easter i will not be as good with my food and excercise but once the kids are back to school next week i will up my excercise and so should be still on track.
I know we are trying to find cheap ways of excercising but i am seriously looking into going swimming once or twice a week. I hate it, or rather i hate putting on that costume, talk about feeling self concious  but i found when i was swimming weekily i was losing weight and doing it in a way which did not put pressure on my knees ( i have some serious problems with them).
Now the question is can i really afford it? And if i can should i be putting that moeny towards my debts? decisions decisions
Keep up the great work everyone and have a FANTASTIC easter :wave:Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Hey Queen B...think of it this way......if you're cutting down on chocolate or any kind of unhealthy food, then you'll save the ca £3 it'll cost you to go swimming......and although I know debt is bad and spare cash should be thrown at it to get rid, surely your health is much more important? Says she who has yet to get herself down the local pool......best I go practice what I "preach".0

Still staying at my Mum's house so I've been on a long walk with a 'borrowed' dog today.
However, made a banana cake earlier as there were several that needed using up... and had to sample two slices! Does that count as two towards my daily fruit intake?
Not having a chocolate egg though (unless I can find one for half price after Easter!)
Have a great weekend everyone!
