Well done Freebird :T great news.

I have a long walk in the woods planned today, won't be a brisk one but it will be a long one and all those hills, plus chasing after two young kids should do some work on my thighs :rotfl:

Still eating ok and drinking lots of water but have decided to indulge a little a easter. we have been baking all week for the day and it would be a shame to have done all that work and not taste some of it :D

Until then though, good food, lots of water and some excercise plus a daily trip to here will be the order of the day :j

    Good morning all,

    Well done Freebird! :)

Not the best day for me yesterday - far too many snacks but I did do a full workout at the gym, got the achey muscles this morning to prove it too :)

Bring a good boy today though. Had my Organic Bran Flakes and half a grapefruit for breakfast so should avoid the morning hunger twangs. Work permitting I'll go to the gym again this afternoon then tonight is the big challenge..... Desperate Housewives without snacking tonight. We'll see.

Have a good day everyone - and as I always say 'Eat But Don't Cheat'. Oh no, thats Dale that says that .... Fit Club was really good last night, quite an inspiration really. I'm a similar size to Jeff Rudam you see.

    Hi everyone,

Please may I join. I've got about 5st to lose , most of it's chocolate so initially I'm going cold turkey on that without changing anything else in my diet.

I'm also going to try to get into a proper routine with my gym going - it's got a bit patchy because I had a chest infection and then a week in Rome (mmm Pasta). Luckily we did so much walking in Rome it didn't add any weight at all :j

Welcome Snoozer....everyone's very welcome to our caring "Cuddle"....the more the merrier!!

Hey all......I found a site called www.mvm.com where you can click on one of their affiliates (I did the Glamour mag one) and build yourself a virtual you.....I built a before model with the most hideous bikini and an after model with a nice tankini and printed them off and stuck them to the fridge for motivation. Am desperate to get out of that pink polkadot effort :o so that'll be me going powerwalking lots instead of raiding the fridge!!!

    :D

    Hello all,

I've only recently found this thread (although I’m almost a regular on the 'I wanna lose weight' thread now) and was shocked it was even here! To lose weight and to manage debt and the same time is amazing! Good luck to you all and congrats to people who are managing it! Makes my struggle to get my weight loss every week seem easy!

I really hope Amos is okay (I'm talking about him in the third person as my interpretation of his last post seemed to suggest that he wasn't coming back - sorry if i'm wrong!) - I read his posts with interest. Personally, I’m trying to lose weight so that I’m well out of the range of BMI that puts me at risk of various health issues just because I eat too much! I really hope that if Amos achieves his weight loss goal that he won't be affected by any of the medical downsides of being seriously underweight like loss of bone density - his posts come across as very intelligent so i'm sure he already knows the risks. The amount of weight Amos has lost already is remarkable - i hope he'll be happy with his body and self image very soon.

I'm sure i sound as condescending as hell in this post but i feel quite affected by some of the posts in this thread, so please forgive me.

Have a good week all (my weekly weigh in is tonight so I hope I’ve had a good week too!).

Welcome JenIttels!!! Good luck on the WI (weigh in) - what diet plan are you following?

I have to say that being in debt & dieting at the same time is no fun - hence why I couldnt manage the latter & could only concentrate on paying off the debt. Still cant lose weight though - must try harder ;0)

    xx

Hmm, I had such good intentions this morning.

Now I want to buy a new laptop, then go and buy some clothes, then sit and eat chocolate until I can't fit anymore in.

I know really I should buy nothing and go to the gym - but gee thats a boring option. :)

Now I've posted I'll have to do the latter - maybe an options hot choc before I go would be a good compromise!!!

Phil .... off to the kitchen then the boring old gym :p

Batfink - you sounded so positive in your post earlier - what happened?

Go to the gym, but just for a little walk or a mini workout - once you are there, you will no doubt feel motivated to do more!!

Then you can have a little treat later on tonight!!

    You CAN do it. xx

Good luck tonight JenIttels......let us know how it goes!

Batfink - well done for posting and then convincing yourself to go for the better "option"... :T ..you know it makes sense and you just knew that our collective Cuddle Power wouldn't let you weaken!!! :D:D

And drink a couple of pints of water when you sit down tonight - it'll make you feel full up and less likely to munch!
