I'm unable to do body pump due to the weights (I had a car accident five years ago and suffer with a chronic pain problem) but I can recommend body attack as a class, although the first time I did it I think it nearly killed me!
I want to get down to 9 stone. Being a teeny 5ft 2 tall anything over that and I look really lumpy. I was also that weight 2 summers ago and I refuse to not wear some of my lovely summer dresses again this year. Especially as that means I will have to get rid of them as they are taking up much needed wardrobe space at the moment. Only 10lbs to go.0 -
Well folks, I'm back from the gym - and I must admit to having renewed enthusiasm. The lad who worked out my new program for me was great, didn't feel patronised at all and didn't leave feeling like a useless fatso like I worried I might.
I looked all buff when I went for a swim after too.
Nice healthy tea tonight too - so that'll make up for the cake this morning and there's nothing much on TV tonight so I should be safe
Have a lovely evening everyone - no more injuries tonight please!

Ok,
Breakfast:
6 eggs cooked to preference
10 rashers of bacon
8 sausages
Mushrooms and a little blood pudding
Smoked kippers
1/4 a tub of full fat mayonnaise
2 litres of water
Elevensies:
A whole pre-cooked chicken
1/4 tub of full fat mayonnaise (for dipping)
2 litres of water
Brunch:
A small bag of mixed seeds, nuts and berries
Large pot of tuna (with mayonnaise)
(Add a small amount of sweetcorn, cucumber, tomato and spring onion)
2 litres of water
Lunch:
An entire stick of celery, washed and clean. Take individual storks and dip them in your favourite full fat cheese dip (I like the Boursain thingy). Full fat Philadelphia is also as nice.
Followed by a packet of pork scratchings
2 litres of water
Afternoon snack:
An entire foot long salami, at least 2 inches thick
(Dip it in 1.4 tub of mayonnaise, mmmm)
2 litres of water
Tea:
Salmon, steamed to perfection. Serve with lemon zest. (NO fish sauce, will contain sugar). Use caviar instead.
Supplement the plate with pilchards and sardines if these are your taste.
Random other shellfish also acceptable.
2 litres of water
Dinner:
A massive stew containing leeks, baby leaf spinnach, some tomatos and peppers, cabbage, finely chopped onion, lots of mince meat. Top up with your favourite leafy dark green vegetables.
Last 1/4 tub of mayonnaise
2 litres of water
Supper:
12 meat roast. Ensure that the juices from all the carnage marinade the meat nicely. Serve with some steamed broccoli and follow with a cheese smorgasbord and red wine. Vodka is also entirely acceptable (as are most spirits but not the sugary ones). Low carb beers also exist.
Midnight snack:
Repeat breakfast but call it an "all day breakfast". This is perfectly acceptable. If you fancy some variety, tofu is good.
2 litres of water
Ok, eat all that every day for a month and you'll lose over a stone in 30 days0 -

Amos no way anyone could loose weight on that!!!
Are you serioius? Is that what you can eat on Atkins, I gave my book away...(I think as I can't find it anywhere) and never tried it... But all that? Serious?
You are tempting me, not by the fact that you can eat all that, but by the fact that you can have the Boursin!
Do you have to have full fat mayo? Can't you have the low fat one?
I am not craving choc, which is good, I suppose detox is working...BUT had the weirdest dream last night! Dreamt that one of my tutors was showing me what sort of model I should make for my final project (studying architecture) and guess what... the model was made of squares of white and milk chocolate!!!!
Keep up the momentum everyone!!!You are all doing very well!

Dreaming about a chocolate model? Man that's a craving if I ever did hear one lol. Sometimes I dream about drinking if I'm thirsty but never had food cravings lol.
Regarding the menu, I'm not joking, if it were physically possible to eat that every day you would still lose weight. The key in this working is that it's not actually possible for you to eat that much and as protein is so filling, in the end you don't actually feel hungry. When you don't feel hungry (but feel full) you don't need the willpower to resist the urge to eat, which is why the diet is so easy lol. When I started I was on about 6 meals a day, now I have 1 a day and feel sick if I eat any more. No willpower required, because I usually suck at willpower so this works for me quite well too lol.
Boursin is divine. Although you can't eat unlimited amounts, you can probably manage 2 whole ones a day (on top of everything in the list)The key to Atkins is to eat a lot of fat and protein, so low fat mayonnaise is kind of contradictory to the diet. I tend to go through a pot of mayo in about 3 days. To me, mayonnaise is the amber necter, the food of the Gods. Mmmmm. Anyway, even if you were to eat low fat mayo, there's so much natural fat in the meat you would eat that it really wouldn't make much difference - so long as the low fat mayo was also low carb. I prefer egg mayonnaise myself, with a splash of vinegar.
Now I'm salivating at the thought of spreading that on a Boursin and pushing it right in to the back of my mouth with pork chop. Mmmm0
