Debt Free & Fat Free Wannabees??

Hi Everyone!! I actually had a good day foodwise yest & resisted the packet of custard creams in the cupboard :0)
Losing weight is so so difficult - although it makes it easier knowing there are others in the same boat - I just wish that it could be done for me!!!
A lot of it is the battle of emotions more than anything - not necessarily being hungry, but feeling the need to comfort eat. I tend to find the more I go to the gym the less I want to eat bad food, but I also tend to have really good weeks and then really bad weeks - never anything in the middle! :0(
I am tempted to get some of those Tanita Fat Measuring Scales (just to really depress myself, hehe!!). Apparently a healthy body fat ratio for someone of my age (25) is between 19% and 25% - I dread to think what I actually am!!???!!
What are you all eating today? Anyone in Central London that perhaps lives South of the River & would like to attempt walking home after work??!!
Or perhaps we can meet in the park and do group aerobics? hehe!!

I'm off to sulk in the corner. My weight stayed the same again this week (two weeks in a row). I must stop thinking that pizza at the weekend is a good idea.
I have resisted the urge to buy cake and am eating a jacket potato with beans instead.0 -

At least it didn't go up! Think of that....and remember next week is another week. And get in maybe a little extra walking in the meantime (stay safe!).Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

I am going to the gym tonight - first time in a long time, but my friend has persuaded me to do a run with her and I have 9 weeks to train! :eek:0 -
Thanks all, I've cheered up now and during my moaning moments just had a slice of lemon cake so I think thats acceptable.
I don't know what it is about watching TV and eating, I think its a bit of a comfort thing - I really enjoy my two nights of TV a week, with a nice cup of tea and some snacks. I'm going to beat it now though - otherwise I'll never be able to join you all down the catwalk.
An hour to go until gym time ...
Thanks

And I know eventually it will go, I'm just impatient and I'd like the weight to drop off now please thank you.
Know what you mean. Even more annoying is when my sister can lose a stone just thinking about dieting :0)
I would definately rather follow a balanced 3 meal a day diet than any of these fad diets that are around at the moment - I'd faint through hunger otherwise!!
Vix1978 - what are your weight loss goals? I hover around the 12st 12.5st mark, and would love it if I could get to 11st, even 11.5st - but I just CANNOT get below the 12st mark.! Grrrrr!! I want to be thin!!!!!!!!!
Can I also recommend BodyPump to everyone. It is fab for toning & an excellent workout!!

naughty naughty naughty chinese food last night.. but I stick stick to my budget and I did only have one glass of wine so things could have been far worse!!
unfortunately, I'm not sure how I'm going to pick up the slack this week as I just met a friend for lunch (jacket and beans) and I'm round to another mate's for dinner tonight and then away at another friends for the weekend.. it seems my only option might be to offer to cook for everyone!
hope to get back early enough on sunday to go for a run but I'm aiming for a stay the same week this week!!good call ms_london on the body pump.. I used to love that class!! can't cough up the £5 to go at the moment though so running will just have to do until I'm more solvent!!
I'm really impatient with weight loss too - if I behave for a couple of weeks I want to SEE results.. and when I don't, I have to really fight getting demotivated.. vicious circleWe WILL all get there though
