    Morning peeps

Replaced the dishes of sweets on the office coffee table (gifts from clients that are supposed to be for visitors - but
well you know) Threw them in a bag into the freezer to give to kids at halloween

Counted 60 marbles into the first dish (one for every pound to lose) and then moved 4 into the next dish (weight gone since starting)

Now everyone will know how far along I am

    No going back now

Greetings bobble-hat and Janey and good luck with the quests.

I have a stinking cold thing going on but decided that was no excuse for slacking......have just had a lovely dinner of 2 roast peppers stuffed with cous cous, grilled bacon and mushrooms, sprinkled with a little olive oil. Yum!! If it sounds odd then it's cos I'm using up bits in the fridge and am getting creative.

My fellow diet fiend seems to have dropped out and no amount of cajoling is getting her into it right now but I don't want to wreck what I've already achieved. I'm determined to lose another stone by Christmas - my wardrobe is bursting with lvoely clothes that I would currently....erm....burst out of and everyone will think I have a whole new wardrobe if I can get into them by Christmas.

Onwards and dowanwards (on the scales) my friends!

MinnieSpender cartwheels onto the thread, fresh from a one-hour pumping iron session at the gym. Oh yes, she does! She is scary in combat trousers, flak jacket, hard hat and high-heeled fluffy pink mules because she knows that "a woman can be tough" while being glam also.

Hi, y'all! Ah hope y'all ready to shake y'all booties as ah introduce y'all to ... INTERVAL TRAINING!!!

Now, ah know y'all think interval training is where y'all run like the clappers for one minute followed by one minute of gentle walking and repeat ad infinitum. And ah know this kind of training works to shift all that excess cakemix hanging around y'all hips.

But ah also know that this is the real world lay-dees (oh! and a few gents! How y'all doin' batfink?). And ah know that at this time of the day y'all settling down to some nice television after y'all hectic day. But the TV has a hidden weapon for y'all fat fighters! INTERVALS

    Woooo hoooo! :j

So, next break, ah'd like y'all to join me down here on the floor. Y'all gonna work those butts and outer thighs!

Lie on y'all sides and have a good ole stretch. Then ah want y'all the lift that top leg up to the ceiling like this:
    sideleglift.jpg

    And down again.

    And UP! And DOWN!
    And UP! And DOWN!
    And UP! And DOWN!
    And UP! And DOWN!
    And UP! And DOWN!

Repeat until the interval is over.

Next interval, ah want y'all back on the floor doing the other side.

    :T :T :T

MinnieSpender staggers off the thread doing a mean impression of John Wayne.

Oh Minnie, if it wasn't for kathfisch and freebird turning my head I think I'd have to marry you!

    freebird - Get well soon!

Memory girl - I like the idea with the marbles, a nice way to keep an eye on your progress!

I've only made it to the gym once this week unfortunately, due to being really really busy at work. Things should calm down next week though so I can build back up to three times a week. I'm really beginning to see some improvement from the weights now - well, when I say see, I am able to put the pin further down than when I started. :)

Oh Minnie......if I was that way inclined, I'd have to marry you too!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(Luckily as a fellow member of the Cult of Ray, Minnie knows this comment is not cause for concern.....Minnie?............Minnie disappears into the distance at full pelt...)

Have just spent the last few mins cackling with laughter after an hour of cursing the Wildebeest stampeding around upstairs (noisy neighbours....am not really living in hut in Africa). Will be giving that workout a bash in my lunch hour.

Hey Batfink.....turning your head???? Didn't know I was still capable of such feats!

Am off to look for marbles now - much more manageable than bags of sugar!

Phil - I'm shocked that you've let those two old floozies freebird65 and kathfisch usurp me in your affections! How did they wiggle their way in without me noticing?

freebird - try harder to be inclined! I'm grasping at straws here!

I wish SOMEONE would marry me! I'm going stale sitting on this shelf!

Anyone else interested, please leave your name below. I'll be having a raffle on Sunday and will let you all know who's won the delightful me!

Weigh-in tomorrow! I think it's going to be good news, guys! :T
