    I think I'm getting results!

I've noticed over the past couple of days that my tum appears to be getting leaner!

No change on the scales and I still resemble a bit of a Teletubby, but I think it's working chaps!

Big up da weight training! Know yourself! :D
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

  • Minniespender and Irchy mum- well done! Muscle weighs more than fat so it's possible to get thinner even though the scales don't show a weight loss, I think that the best thing is to go by how you look and how your clothes feel etc rather than what you weigh.

Well done everybody else too! Keep it up!! :T

Urgh.....am retiring from exercise challenge after less than 24 hours due to onset of severe...ummmm....cramps. Retiring to bed with hot water bottle and cuppa, but resisting overwhelming urge for chocolate.

50 mile drive to friend's birthday dinner tonight....I soooooo don't want to go!

  • Freebird, poor you! Look after yourself and take it easy, I'm sure a bit of chocolate wouldn't do any harm... purely for medicinal reasons of course! :D

    K9 Update

Had my weigh in today.. my target was 114.9kg.. I "thought" I might even been as low as 112 but had to bad week last week easy (and eatting rubbish! :( )

Anyhoo... I was 114.5 kg! So beat my target!!! So I'm kinda happy!!!

I've lost 9kg todate which is around 1st 4lbs!! I've still got along way to go.. I won't be the medical recommended until est. May 2008!!! I think I will be happy with 86k which should be at (if I carry on as I am!) Nov 2007.

Anyway... my next target is to be 109.8kg for Nov 2006! Will keep you posted!!

  • Well done k9 Cuddles- you are doing brilliantly! They do say that if you lose weight gradually it will stay off so you will get there!

:T :T :T :T K9cuddles!! As Stepho said....do it slowly and it'll stay off - it's about changing your lifestyle and habits as much as losing weight. Well done you - give yourself a huge pat on the back!

I ran out of coffee so went to tescos......fixed chocolate craving too - WW mini chocolate rolls - 1.5 points each and boy were two of them yummy with my morning coffee.;)

Got free lunch too courtesy of tesco missprices thread - healthy living haddock fillets duly R&R'd and saving fed to Daisy the Mortgage Pig - wooohooo.

Well done to all of you partaking in the challenge. Apart from a few lame walks I don't think i've got much too offer on that front!!! Do promise to do more next week when my gym buddy returns from her hols - I'm so crap without her!!!

Stuck to my meal plan and only had wine over the weekend. Lost 3lb so well chuffed. Out last night and on thursday and then in dublin Sat/ Sun but determined to be as good as possible. Good luck to you all on the challenge, I might be brave enough to join next time.

    Keep on running

Good luck hoppylass!! Well done on getting back on track, don't be too hard on yourself though. Don't beat yourself up if you haven't lost tons though... slow and steady wins the race :D
