I don't want to show off or anything (:D) but having checked my diary, I've been to the gym FIVE times this week. And with cramp days too!
Huzzah to The Spender! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Go girl!! Good for you! :T I would have gone to the gym tomorrow... but am doing a car boot with my mum- at least it's DWD!!0

Huzzah indeed.....well done!
I, on the other hand, have been a VERY bad girl! Spent the weekend at a massive party (about 40,000 people!) and drank loads, ate loads of junk to offset effects of said drink and am now feeling absolutely awful....4lb heavier (  ), £60 lighter (now why can't that be the other way around???) and bloated and sleepy. Two weeks to go till hen weekend (not mine) so a serious detox is called for!
I'm going to go nicely OTT and set a target of a 10lb loss starting from this morning's 14st 7lb......just think nice loose outfits for weekend and possibility of virtual slaps on the wrist from DFFW's to keep me on the path to lightness.0 -
HI guys, I am new on this thread and having started a diet last week I have weighed myself this morning and found out I have lost a grand total of 1lb. I have been following weightwatchers and know that other people in their first weeks have lost loads more. I was looking forward to a really good start to motivate me!!!0

Hey come on sickofhavingnomoney (gonna have to find you a shorter nickname....was gonna call you 'sicko' but decided against it!) at least you didn't out ON a pound!
Don't give up.....better slow & steady as it stays off that way. Are you exercising too? That will help.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hey sickofhavingnomoney - welcome to our "Cuddle"!!!!
Don't be disheartened - a loss is a loss!!! The fact it wasn't more could be down to any number of reasons......a spot of water retention, that time of the month, etc, etc. Everyone has different metabolisms and some just take longer to get burning then others.
Try tracking - I did when I started WW and was shocked at how much snacking I was doing without realising it. Also, and everyone will tell you this, exercise is the key......try to get out there and do loads even if it's just walking.
Just stick to it, come and chat to us lot and you'll get there!0 -
Thanks guys, I know a pound lost is a pound lost i just felt so deflated..... I am feeling a bit better now and back on track. I am writing down everything i eat this week.
I am finding exercise a bit difficult as I have a two kids under three and never seem to have a minute. Might have to start going for walks with them! They won't be impressed.
Looking ahead - I am glad you decided against sicko lol0 -

Can I join you?, I feel and look awful right now, I really am comfort eating, especially in the evenings. I need to exercise too, but I hate it and can't afford to pay to go to a Gym. I may set myself a swimming challenge, that's fairly achievable.
I've bought the F2 diet book from a charity shop, my Mum lost two stone on the F-Plan diet years ago.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
Can I join in too? Am currently about 2.5 stone over ideal weight - and really unfit. I've decided that from next year I want to cycle to work (7 miles each way) so my challenge is to get fit enough to do that without killing myself.
My sister swears by the GI diet - anyone do that? (I suspect in my case just giving up chocolate and cappuccino would help! :rotfl: )
So starting as I mean to go on - challenge for this week: get the bike cleaned up and ride it - somewhere!Highest Debt (July 06): £55117.79 Debt now: £52895.44 Debt Free Date: June 20100
