Plus the fact that there are full length mirrors in front of the treadmills at the gym. Why is that???

    Posing. Pure & simple.

I remember reading a book by someone who compared mirrors at the gym to a story he once read of a mass murderer who forced his victims to watch their own death agonies in a mirror- gross but I know what he means! :rotfl:

Walked down the high street during my lunch break, about a 10 minute walk. But then I've had chips for tea!

Just a quick note to ask if anyone has heard of The Vince Graham 7 Minutes A Day Body Sculpting Programme by Richard Collins. It looks really good especially if, like me, you hate the thought of a gym. Its £19.97 with a 8 week money back guarantee if it's not for you, but I'm not sure if it's just another gimmick. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

my Kate Lawler workout DvD Came today! £3.50 on eBay. Will start putting it to good use on Monday (with moving from a top floor flat to a top floor flat this weekend I think i'll have enough exercise with stair climbing!!)
  • hey guys. sorry i havent been on this board much latly.

it looks like you are all doing really well with the weight loss.

i haven't been slacking off too much and my total is now at 1 stone! woo hoo. I am now well within the healthy BMI range. Since taking running more seriously i am much fitter too.

i feel much better about myself and lots of people have complimented me on how much better i look. I think maybe another 1/2 stone could be lost, although my focus now is shifting to toning up to look better rather than losing more weight.

just to give you all some hope - you will get there in the end! OH took me shopping the other day to buy some new clothes (i think he was sick of my walking round pulling my jeans up!). I wish someone had told me years ago that the 'high' you get from buying a pair of size 10 jeans is much better than anything a chocolate bar can do for you!

so keep going, its definatly worth it! :-)

Didn't make the gym tonight on account of feeling crampy.

    Blurgh - it's horrid!
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?
