I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 2lb. One positive of taking my lunch to work, I can't be tempted by chocolate.

I've also not had a takeaway for over a month now which must help.

Only another 3 stone 1lb to go before April next year.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Hey, LA!

    How's your back? Any better?

    Hey Minnie :hello:

Do you know....it is! I did some stretches last night though not a lot as other half was taking up most the house it seemed one way or another....so this morning I got up 5 minutes earlier and spent some time after a hot shower stretching the lower spine out and following your advice.

I went for a long walk at lunchtime and did some more stretching tonight and some dancing around the lounge (other half is out - I have reclaimed some space hurrah) and it feels pretty damn good now!

Thanks SOOOOO much for the stretches - I printed them out and will follow them from now on as I really don't want a repeat of this if I can help it.

Hey I read your post about the first day as a temp by the way....there is something refreshing though about the lack of responsibility for a while...when I did it I felt like I was on holiday but getting paid for it.

    hello everyone.
I've just stumbled on this thread and its exactly what I need. I really struggle to stick to a diet, though I do eat quite a lot of fruit and veg. I just also love cakes and stuff!
I do try to walk, though no where near as much as I ought to do. I've got a pedometer on order from amazon, so when that arrives I'll set myself some targets to walk a bit more.
    Anymore ideas?

I'm glad to hear they helped!

Keep up with the stretches even when your back is better. Keeping it strong will prevent problems further down the line.

Good advice about the temp work too. It's not like I'm in need of stimulation, now is it? :rotfl:
