ok right click on usb controller then properties, then advanced. in the left corner there is a box which you can tick which then stops usb error messages popping up. do this for all the usb controller settings.when that is done..... go back to the 1st usb controller right click on it and click on update driver. it will ask if it can connect to windows update choose the option yes one time only, then click next. this will search for new updates for your usb ports. do this for all usb controllers as before.spanky xx

I've clicked 24C7, and it says 'This device is working properly'
At the top I have options - General - Advanced - Driver - Details - Resourses
Device type
Manufacturer
Location
Troubleshoot
device useage
etc.
Many thanks for your patience here, but as I said earlier on in the thread, Im not very good with these techie type problems...

I've put it back to no tick in the box, as I don't have a clue what that message means, and am frightened I'll make matters worse than they are already.
I'll have to leave it as it is at present, and come back later and try to re read the thread.
Many thanks for patience and your help so far...................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -

Suppressing the error message won't solve the problem. If your USB mouse is the cause, you'll need to replace it.0
