Totally agree -we too have made plans to use them and can't understand how their system which must surely be used to dealing with discontinued and 'goping out of stock' items can have had a gremlin on this one occcasion
  • Does no-one have free access to a mini digger to dig a giant hole in their garden? and make b&q come round to fill it in, could get the Sun to take a picture I'm sure they could come up with endless headlines involving the word BUTT.:rotfl:

  • What do people think as to having one person representing us on the situation as all cases are fairly similar (letters etc) and if we were to, we must all remain solid as one unit...
Or would it be better to approach this on an individual basis.....

    Your Thoughts..

I've thought about having one person taking this on if viable. It would be great if a solictor could take this on via a no-win-no-fee option. Maybe not possible though. Another free option may be to get a "consumer champion" from your local paper to try and negotiate - we have a great one up here in the North East (Mr Justice), a real star.
If one person is successful though it would open the floodgates.
First of all I would suggest contcting B&Q stating your grievance and asking them for a response. If taking them on it would need to be shown you have at least tried to settle out of court.
One things for sure, I bet they sort out their T&C's.
