I've just been to B&q Plymouth and they are selling a massive 2800ltr H20 tank for £150 reduced from £1800 ish (sorry no EAN availible) and a Titan above ground tank (EAN 5060147310054) FOR £50 reduced from around £900.
It seems to be in store only, maybe nationwide
I've bought one of the 900ltr tanks for £50 which is great because I also lost out on the 1100ltr tank0 -
the bbc.c.o.uk programme watchdog is looking for new stories for their new autnum series..........0

I thought I was taking this on for all
There is no need for no win no fees as this is a straight forward case and I am not paying anyone to do it
The cost of a proper case in court would outweigh the claim
As for watchdog they have the details already0 -
I ordered 3 of these as we had big ideas about rainwater harvesting, esp. in view of the coming summer.Order confirmed at 12:53 on 21st ,(also for 2 above ground tanks, reserve and collect),but payment was taken on 23rd.Surely they already knew there was a problem by the 23rd.As for any of us thinking that the ptice may be an error, surely post 190 by dad46 puts paid to that argument. Was there genuinely any stock ?Was it possible for anyone to get a tank ? There are a lot of questions that need answers.
I would be very happy for someone to take charge of this and get it sorted.0 -
Have been following this thread closely but not much time to post at the moment.
Too busy working out how to pay my digger man for the bl00dy great big hole I now have!!!
We sell used cars and things like this are perfect for what I consider to be wastes of water ie. cleaning cars.

Yes I'm happy for TBeckett to take this on - he's got previous experience, a great understanding of what is expected and has fire. If all goes as planned it will open the floodgates.
I don't want anyone to lose out finacially on this and I'm willing to pledge an amount in case of any loss (out of pocket expenses, lost wages, travel, court costs etc.).
If this "pot" is not needed it could be donated to charity/charities, or given back - just a thought.

My understanding of what TBeckett means is that it's a simple process for each of us to submit our own small claims court case for a relatively small fee (£50-£60 I think), it can even be done online at www.moneyclaim.gov.uk. Since he already has experience of this, he has kindly offered to share guidance but IMO getting a solicitor would be a waste.0

The point of suing is to be financially put in the position to buy one elsewhere0
