Quiche freezes well too - I usually make two at a time, although I find hubby takes this to work as snacks so it doesn't usually get to be another meal. Cottage pie is another good one to freeze too- either as full pies or to save space - just the base, defrost and add mash (usually after a roast meal the night before when I make too much mash to use on the pie
)
Also a fav of hubbies is steak pie - I usually make a vat of the base in the slow cooker and freeze in portions. Then just defrost and add ready made puff pastry. And if all else fails - shove some dough in the bread maker and get OH to make pizza0 -
There's a note on my scan from yesterday that says my placenta is anterior - which means front, I believe. That means I won't feel kicks as soon, right?:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Which means that next week I will be able to say I'm due THIS month! :eek:
My body is definitely preparing - I am getting loads of Braxton Hicks and I've been craving things with calcium in which I think is because it is a natural painkiller.
I bought some calcium tablets yesterday from the health food shop but they were about £8 for 60 and i need to take 8 a day, so my plan of taking them from now is over! I can;t afford that many tablets so will have to try and judge when I might go into labour and start the week before!
I'm totally out of sync with my MW and Gp apps now and have no idea when I should go and see anyone next. I also seem to have lost my listDoes anyone have the list from NICE of when you see which person? I know I posted it once on another thread but I can;t find it.

thanks all - I just remember having read stuff that if your placenta lies towards the front, you may not feel kicks 'til later b/c you only feel kicks when they bump something else (i.e., you don't techically feel 'kicks' - you feel the consequences!).top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

They also have fab customer service, and I found a discount code in the back of a preggy magazine which helped with the cost. They wash and iron beautifully and are really lovely.QUOTE]
Thanks Skinty - I remember you looking for them (in a rush I think?). Will check them out later.

Fitzio - yes I was in a rush and they were great! I ordered the 12s and they were too big so they rushed me the 10s without making me pay for them as they knew I'd be sending the others back, and even made a special trip to the PO for me to ensure they arrived on time. They were great and I can;t recommend them enough.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
