If you do decide to have more children you could always opt for Royal Glam or Llandoch next time.
I was supposed to be going to Llandough but because my waters broke at 36+3 it wasn't an option. I've been told because of the complications on this birth I would have to go to a consultant led ward next time too. Which rules out Llandough again, Royal Glam has been suggested by the midwife for next time so we'll look into it if we ever do decide to have another.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -

I'm consultant led at Royal Glam and I must admit I cannot recommend them enough at the moment - ask me after the birth and hopefully I'll be saying the same thingYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Hi all
Just had a call from the midwife. GTT results were fine (hoorah), iron levels are fine (hoorah) but my platelets are up (WFT does that mean?). Got to go back in three weeks for another blood test to check if they have gone down again. She said it just happens sometimes and is nothing to worry about. Am in work so was a bit difficult to ask any more when she called. Will google now why what etc but has anybody else had this? If they are high again next time (10th July), I 'gotta' be consultant led instead of my HB.
Any experiences of high platelets? Anything I can do to bring them down? lol Blood letting anyone?
ETA Just found info on someone with high platelets having a homebirth so I have just altered the 'gotta' slightly! My baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -
