Tinkerbell - I also have slippers on my list, apparently hard bottom ones are best, as the floors in some labour ward bathrooms are pretty disgusting _pale_
Also a mini fan, or a water spray to keep you cool if its a hot day.
Oh, and a hat for baby to go home in, perhaps a light cotton sun hat.
EDIT: I have also bought one of those mini travel deodorants in Tesco for DH, in case I am in labour a while!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

When I was in hospital they wanted the baby to keep his hat on, it was also mentioned in parentcraft that whilst in hospital they like to keep the baby warmer than you should when you bring him/her home. So definately take a hat. When they dressed Tomos they wanted a vest, romper suit and hat to dress him in off me. And then they put him in the cot with a blanket.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -

Gorgeous pics ML. We've decided not to go for a 3D scan as we don't want to know what flavour we're having and they are so detailed it would be hard to hide, I suspect! But I do get a pang about that decision when I see pics as good as these ones. We've got another scheduled scan at 32 weeks and if the sonographer is feeling nice she might flick the 3D on to show us baby's face, but we won't get to watch him or her for any length of time playing in 3D0

Hi Nicki - I wouldn't worry about that - it's actually pretty cramped in the uterus at this stage and so the baby tends to be curled up, legs crossed (that's what the sonographer said and it seemed to be true). There was definitely no 'catching sight' of the telltale bits. As the whole baby doesn't fit in the pic, you could just say you definitely don't want to know and they would concentrate on the face.
I wasn't convinced about 4d but seeing others' pics on here made me really want to do it, so if you do want to see the face, I'd say go for it!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
