Kids are singing on the xbox... they are getting a little sister and are so excited!!! So if you hear what sounds like cats dying, it's just my loud children
I got my cankles back today! woohoo...not. :rolleyes:0 -
might try eBay then. I never wear dresses but that was mainly boob related! Difficult to get dresses to fit 32H boobs, size 8 waist and 5 foot shortie!
The size 8 dress i received yesterday from dorothy perkins, is soft and stretchy.
Can accomodate my current 34F's (but am currently bursting out and really need bigger bras)
I am also a 5ft shortie and it falls just below the knee.
It also still had the tags on. So bargain.
Give it a go. I search eaby every day, to see what pops up. (Not very busy in work at the moment);)0 -

SM - Yay! You got it. Now, are they going to make sure this doesn't happen next time!! And the £17 extra - see it as compensation0 -
ML (or anyone)
What is the difference between the lucozade test and the GTT? I though it was one and the same thing. I went for GTT last Fri (Bloods, lucozade, 2 hours wait then more bloods) and thought it was just one thing? Is there something else I have missed?
The lucozade test is done as a (non-fasting) precursor to GTT at my hospital - if the results are clear you don't need to do the GTT. I guess it's a way of screening so they don't GTT everyone only the higher risk patients? It's also only one set of bloods. Lucozade, 1 hr, bloods (have a wobble in my case), home
Am really hoping I come back clear, I don't want to go through another attaclMFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

GLAM - I actually administer the NHS Pension Scheme too.
Yes you pay your 6.5% on what you receive (e.g. SMP)and the employer will pay on their normal amount (14% on your full pay). You will have to maintain for the 3 months unpaid (if you are taking the full 12 months off) .
Karen - sorry, you seem to be turning into the resident pensions adviser!
I'm in the Local Gov Scheme so probably similar to NHS. So can I assume that if I return to work before my SMP runs out at 9 months (am planning 6) then there's nothing I need to do - employer will deduct the right % every month as appropriate and my contributions will be seamless?MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

thanks for clarifying ML - seems like an awful waste of resources though!
They should only be doing GTT on certain people and then it would be done in one appt instead of doing everyone once and then a percentage of those twice!
I'll be in for it next week - I am a nightmare to get blood from at the best of times but no food or drink for 12 hours beforehand? Good luck!
SM - glad u got your money!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

SM - great news about getting your money sorted!
I have at last got hot water again! Repair man has just left and has been here all afternoon, apparently he had a complete nightmare with it and needed to go and get extra parts . But at least its fixed and I can happily go into labour now knowing that the house will be ready for the baby to come home to!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set
Debt free thanks to MSE0 -
