FAYE - thats less than 4 weeks!!!!

Wow, congrats! We will be doing cheap and cheerful as well (when we get round to it ) - I don't see the point in wasting so much money on one day!
Can't wait to hear your plans!

Think i need some new leggings, have one pair, a size 6 i found in the back of the wardrobe during a clear out. I can wear them below the bump, think i could do with a bigger size. Had a look in Primark at the weekend, but they only had patterned leggins and Hareem pants. And i seriously don't think i can do them. Would just look way too stupid with a bump.

Anyone any ideas where i can get some? Thanks

I've seen them in H and M, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Top Shop fairly recently but all in black. They are a fairly staple maternity item tbh so I'd be surprised if they were hard to find in most places that do cheap and cheerful maternity wear.

ASDA have cropped leggings in Black for a fiver - they are on their website. Only thing I can wear right now!
Did you notice whether or not Primark had any nice dresses suitable for work?

Thanks Glam. Will have to go have a proper look in Asda.
Looked at dresses in Primark Wigan, but was looking for dresses with the elastic bit at the top that covers your boobs. But didnt really see any i like. It was on sat afternoon and it more than slightly resembles a jumble sale by then and i have no patience. And the queue to try on is ridiculous. Sunday afternoon would be a better time to go look.
I have to say, most dresses were flowery or printed. Not sure if you need plain for work.

I have just bought two plain black maternity dresses from ebay for £4 each. One is dorothy perkins and one top shop. Take a look on there. Idea is to brighten them up with long or short sleeve cardy or beads/necklace.

But i'm lucky, my work has no dress code, and i wear jeans most days. Wanted something a bit cooler. The blokes at work nearly died of shock the other week, when it was warm and i went in wearing a dress.

I wouldn't worry - if it was something they were concerned about they would have asked you to go down today. Urgent stuff needs dealing with on the day so it can't be too bad!

might try eBay then. I never wear dresses but that was mainly boob related! Difficult to get dresses to fit 32H boobs, size 8 waist and 5 foot shortie!

Candice (((huge hugs))) it's horrible when things go wrong and your ignored, but it gets easier. Just keep talking about it all you need hun and I recommend the birth trauma site http://www.birthtraumaassociation.org.uk/ It can help to know your not alone. Hope you recover soon and don't blame you one bit for wanting an elective c section next time!

Nancmat, I bought 2 pairs maternity jeans at 10 weeks due to bloating (my own just made me feel sick) and then a few skirts from ebay and a few tops from peacocks. I've also bought a few plain cotton tops a size larger, they stretch with the bump and at the price I paid not bothered if they get stretched out of shape.

Tink, Urinary Tract Infection? They usually cause stuff in your urine (anything from protein to glucose, most usually leukocites and blood but not always). Or Group B strep? Kidney? As Glam said, if it was serius they would ask you to go down now.
