Thanks NMS - I was on the old thread and managed to find it after ages searching! Come back to a whole page of posts!
I didn't even put my name in! I just pretended to be my employer, I think they pay Class 1 contributions!
Karen - So are you saying that whilst on ML I will pay 6.5% of my SMP into pension (I currently pay 6.5% of normal wages) but that employer will be paying his normal 14% of my normal salary and not of SMP?
If so, BONUS!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Cheers, yes thought of that and friend is Manager of large travel chain has asured us when we book we will have cot (i wouldnt fly without one)!
It really is worth checking again just before your departure date. My friends booked the seats and the sky cot every time they flew - they just weren't given them when they turned up on the day at check in! Not much fun, as they had 3 kids under 4 at the time...0 -
Candice - hugs, and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Nicki, I'm 5months gone now, and because its soo hot im fine with dresses at work, so will have a dig around.. I wouldnt buy clothes bigger than a 10 smocks seem to have loads of room in them for now, thankfully at the mo its just bump and boobs which are bigger and no weight yet on arms etc
I bought 2 pairs of Mat trousers for work - I am now 27 weeks and the M&P one's I bought don't fit anymore! I have the elastic bit out as far as it will go but can't do the buttons up when I stand let alone sit!
I am wearing non-maternity smocks so can wear afterwards as well but am now stuck in leggings because I refuse to buy any trousers this late on and plus it's summer!
I wanted to get some nice summery dresses for work but can't see any that I like and are cheap! Might make a trip to Primani (that's the posh name for Primark!)A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Not sure what to say Candice. What a dreadful thing to happen. I thought my birth story with number 2 was bad, but it wasn't anything like yours. You are being really brave about it though, and am glad that things are going well with Jacob, and hope you recover soon.0

It depends on your pension scheme - I would double check the rules of your scheme but usually you shouldn't lose out on benefits whilst on ML.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Thanks Karen - I must say, I don't really know anything about pensions. Mines a stakeholder and I think I pay a set amount each month which is matched by my employer.
I know it's not very much

It's NHS pension scheme - would you know?
