I suppose I might have stretchmarks on my bum - I've not been able to see it since about 6 months, so anything could be going on back there! My feet were the biggest shock though. I didn't even consider stretch marks there a possibility!

Have just been reading the parent thread and am now terrified. Utterly freaked out by their non-sleeping screaming babies. What if we get a difficult one?

The cat's finally retired to his chair and is leaving me alone, so I am going to hop into the bath (I think I figured out how to get out of it the other night, so we shall see if it works, if not I will have a glass, a book and a towel handy so I can camp out there till Himself gets home. Horrible backache again, and I can feel her little fists really low down so hopefully it won't be too much longer.

NMS - I always forget those areas, must remember to do them!

My mum had one tiny stretchmark with my sister who was a 9lber and none on the other 4 so I'm hoping I don't get any! I do have some on my boobs from when they were massive and I didn't support them!

SS - may sure you've got plenty of hot water then! You don't want to end up with it going cold if you do get stuck :rotfl:

I'm struggling with getting out of bed in the morning - OH already helps me up off the sofa!

Need to get out of work my boss shouted at me re something that was not even my thought and now he knows he was in the wrong he's trying to be all nice without saying sorry. Also just found out my so called mate is having a girly night up at hers friday night and has said nothing to me. !!!!! The only reason why out of all the girls going i would have been the only one with an boyfriend and they all will be drinking !!! Just want to cry, have a mate coming to meet me for lunch. Hope everyone is ok and i am covering myself in bio oil and palmers cocca butter.
Maybe your friend in her misguided way thinks you wouldn't want to go as you can't drink:confused:

    ooh Glam you're here :)
I wanted to tell you last night but the site died.. RLT I almost never managed to drink 4 cups and I like the stuff :p
I used Weezl's idea of making a jug up and keeping it in the fridge and it tastes lovely ice cold (and much more enjoyable if the sun comes back!!)
    so I has week 32 - 34 1 cup a day, 34-36 2 cups, 36-38 3 cups, 38 onwards 3 or more cups.
It really worked for me - the MWs were amazed how quickly my uterus shrank!

Enjoy your haircut NMS. I really need one but haven't found a hairdresser I trust over here yet. Whenever a friend goes to a new one I wait excitedly for the results, but they always come back looking like Hilary Clinton.

Lou - maybe they didn't think you'd want to be around them when they're drinking. Don't take it personally.

Lou--- dont let the b&star&s get you down... I felt similar a while ago so I've invited all my friends round to mine for drinks and non-alcholics for another friend who is preggs, just for girly gosspi etc and then into town for those who feel like it, hopefully will be me, wishful thinking..

I find that unless I sort anything out, we never see eachother.. have a chat with your mate she might have assumed you didnt want to go round, grrr x

  • Sugar - a nursing colleague of mine said to me the other day relaxed people tend to have relaxed babies... anxious people tend to have anxious babies... I may well end up on the parenting thread cursing the moment I believed it, but the thought is currently making me feel ok about my prospects with the cub and her sleeping/screaming.

the nct class last night reassured me that we are pretty relaxed compared to most :D

ML I'm not sure the relaxed mum = relaxed baby BUT a relaxed Mum can cope much better with a grumpy baby ;)
