Got my ebay bump band in the post and it's pretty good - I've been able to resurrect a denim skirt that I had grown out of at the tummy. I have a couple of summer dresses but even though theyre the coolest thing in this weather I always chicken out of wearing them for work as I convince myself I look like a lampshade! Now at least I can wear a skirt.

It's great when you realise you have more options of things to wear. I have a pre-pregnancy skirt that I have been wearing un-zipped, with the opening going around my bump at the front (it's made up of lots of panels so you can't tell that the seam is running up the front rather than the side ;)) Yesterday I struggled to pull it over my ever increasing thighs and bump, but it was ever so easy to take over going upwards. How is it I can get over my newly acquired bump and boobs, but my my bum???

Carla - have fun shopping - are you venturing out in the rain or internet browsing? Have you cjhecked mothercare - they have a sale on at the moment, but maybe read harleys's (I think!) posts as she's been having trouble with the deliveries.

Elastigirl - I would ring your docs or NHS direct just to be on the safe side. ;)

how far on are you elasti, i have forgotten!? my dd got chicken pox when i was about 24/5 weeks pregnant and everything was ok because i was out of the 1st trimester (if i remember correctly) and because i had them when i was younger aswell. maybe better to phone doctors and even ask the receptionist to be on the safe side!!

I am 16 weeks tomorrow. I really don't want him to get it yet as he had 2 weeks left at pre-school one more visit to big school for the whole morning and he has a leavers party where they do a presentation for each child and talk about what a joy or pain lol it was to have your child at pre-school. Ooh i am going to be a wreak started welling up just thinking about it. I can't believe he is going to school, I don't want him to go he is so little.

I am sooo tired, I just need a nap. Woke up at 3am and couldn't sleep. I was roasting and couldn't get comfortable. I should be cleaning and doing stuff around the house, but just can't get up the energy to move.

I as told that if you have had it before you should be fine. DS2 had a secondary case scare when I was around 12 weeks.

I am soooo tired this morning and I feel all heavy. I hate the summer  Just to point out that I hate every summer, not just the ones when I am pregnant (or pregnate as DS1 says).

BH have settled down but my bump feels battered and bruised. Not good for my stress levels
