ooh!! my friend has had her baby boy!!
4.30 this morning not sure of weight or names yet. think they were calling him Jack'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Aww ((hugs)) nancmat. It's awful when a pet is ill, I have a dog and know exactly how you feel. They're part of the family.
It's pouring with rain here, wouldn't be surprised to hear of flash floods on the news! Has cooled down lovely though. I've been shopping this morning and bought Dawn French's book. Hopefully that will stop me getting as bored!
Hubbys work have told him they're taking his van off him. He works 2 junctions away up the M1, so no idea what we're going to do about him getting to work! We have a car but I need it to take DS to school, as it's too far away to walk. My neighbour has offered to take him to school and fetch him as her daughter is in the same class. It's a lovely offer but I just feel I'd be putting on her - besides, I like doing the school run and seeing him off in the morning. The only other option is for me to take him and fetch him from work everyday. He goes at about 6am, but sometimes doesn't finish until 6pm. Reading this back sounds like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but once I'm back at work it's going to be really tiring being up so early, taking him to work, sorting the kids out, doing school run then taking the baby to the childminder then going to work myself! Argh! It's hurting my head so I'm not going to think about it!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

27 days for me - come out little Bellyfrog! You're just about cooked now.
Since we missed the other dates we liked the sound of, we're now hoping for Bastille Day. It was my OH's mother's birthday. I still refuse to believe I could possibly go to term. I'm already about to explode.
Nancmat, your poor little cat. I'm so sorry.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

although, have just had a look at my feet, and i dont really blame him at the minute - full of hard skin at the mo from wearing flipflops constantly for the past few weeks. would love one of those foot spa things - but we cant use them while pregnant....is that right!??
Really is that right? And here i was just thinking of having a look at them on Argos or boots websites. Why are all the good things band, when you need them.
Think i will have a google and see what comes up about it!
Edit: OK, so a foot soak is alright, but its the bubbles and jets that are the problem. There are accupressure points on the ankle and feet that can bring on contractions.0 -
I need loads of vibes! There was nothing happening when I was examined yesterday, and today doesn't feel any different. I don't think she's going to be here before next week. It's really disheartening! I feel like I've waited so long now, and now there's no more developing, growing or anything else to do so why can't she just hurry up! 5 days overdue now and as you can tell I'm pretty fed up!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
