I'm at home today - been awake on and off with a headache I don't think I can take anything for as on aspirin for bp as it is since 3am so called in sick, seems a bit pathetic pulling the pregnancy card to me but there is no way I could have coped with a 3 hour commute and 8 hours in the office, I've not even managed to get up yet! My mother will have a fit if I told her - although in some ways wish was staying with her as she has a pool! Which reminds me, found out about a local ante natal swimming class which I was planning on going to later.

You can take paracetamol regardless of the asprin, call you mw to check, but they usually tell you to take paracetamol if you have a headache (so they know if it's one to worry about or not).

    Hello all,

I have finally lost my ankles! They went off somewhere on Tuesday and haven;t returned since :( My hands are also puffing up. I know I should be grateful this is only happening at 37 weeks but I'm not!

joined my local Parents Yahoo group the other day and today I went and got a JoJoMaman nursing dress for £15 and the Baby Whisperer book for £2 from a lovely lady. I don't know if they have these groups for everywhere but it's great.

In about half an hour I have to leave for my growth/is baby still breech? scan.

I'm quite worried about it being breech although all the movement is at the top of my bump so I'm really hoping it has turned. I have done some exercises to try and get it to, but not as many as I could have done as they involve being upside down and are uncomfortable.

Growth-wise, I really do think the baby is fine, just smaller than average, rather than growth-!!!!!!, but today we find out for sure anyway.

if it's bad news I may not come back on today. I have my last antenatal class tonight and will need to hold myself together for that if there is something wrong with the baby.

Labour vibes to all who need them, and cooling vibes to everyone!

Skinty, hope the scan goes well!!!

Is it just me who keep hitting the 'spam?' button instead of the reply button? Driving me mental!

GTT was horrid! They got a glass, filled it half full with glucose powder and filled it with water then I had 10mins to drink it. As I was retching with every sip I was then told 'If your sick you may as well go home cos there's nothing we can do then'. Managed two thirds and flat out refused the rest as I would have been sick.

I can still taste it now! _pale_ Results tomorrow.

And I've been getting BH that may be the real thing all day. Start off as stabbing pain lower down, then it tightens at the bottom, gets tighter at the top and the stabbing pain is low down and at the sides of my bump, builds up and peaks and eases off. Lasting a good 2 mins though and every 10-15mins. I've to call if they get worse... and I seem to have a lot of CM since I came home  Putting it down to dehydration for the moment. My bump is sore down the right side too.

BP is fine, only high reading was when I was getting a BH(?). 1+protein too.

Oh MM, while your on. You said you had stocked up on milk, how much did you buy. i'm going for Apitamil again, but not sure how many i should get though, in case i need to move to hungry baby or the easy digest one. Can't even remember how long a box may last at first.

I think last time, i just bought one SMA to have in, and later changed to aptamil, but would rather have a stock of milk in this time.

Ducks and runs for cover, because not breastfeeding.......

Doubt it, I'll just be in pain for days due to the dehydration.

And I suppose I am only 32 weeks so it wouldn't really be a good thing...
