Thanks MM. I know i don't really, but there are just so many women pro breast feeding, i feel like i'm a wierdo, because i just don't want to.

DS was born throught emergencey section and i was in the theatre for a long time. I bled quite a bit apparently. So they gave OH a bottle to feed him before i was even in recovery. They then took him to the nursery overnight and bottle fed him there. So i never even tried in the first hours, so didn't bother after that. The midwives were quite accepting of bottle feeding and never asked me if i wanted to even try and breastfeed. I just get the impression, that its all breastfeed, breastfeed these days. Which i can perfectly understand the many benefits of. But i know if anyone trys to force me, i will dig my heels in. Of course if anything was to go wrong and bubs needed the breastmilk i will of course breastfeed.

If you read my BS for DD then you will see it was exactly the same !!!
The nurses I had were really nice about me not breastfeeding, but you did get the odd, are you sure type questions !!!

I did lay down bad habits for my girl when she younger she still wont drink milk unless it is flavoured i was much tougher on my lad and he isnt as fussy. I suppose it came from being young and inexperienced and also not having wonderful sites like this to point me in the right direction. I would be here for ever listing the things i would do differently with the pair of them if i could do it all over again
This may sound weird or not I don't know but at one point I thought I shouldn't BF Edgar because I felt that I was favouring him over Chris and that I should do everything the same to make it fair:o

I had a urine test on Monday that indicated a urine infection but needed to be sent to the lab and the GP told me to ring back today but the receptionist can't tell me the results because the GP hasn't read them yet and to ring back on Monday. Do you think I should be worried, I mean, if I need antibiotics wont I need them as soon as possible?

Jennynoo, does your doctors not work Fridays! Did you state you were pregnant. I'd try again later todayor tomorrow, or if you can go down there. My doctors in a right pain to get through to on the phone and i seem to get much further by showing my face.

nancmat thats a lovely dress i used to buy a size up in dresses to allow for the bump but thats sadly come to an end if they have one in store why dont you go try it on as you may find you have grown rather a lot around the bust as well. I had to take a dress back to tesco the other day and get a size 16 as i couldn't get my enourmous hooters in the 14
