I had a urine test on Monday that indicated a urine infection but needed to be sent to the lab and the GP told me to ring back today but the receptionist can't tell me the results because the GP hasn't read them yet and to ring back on Monday. Do you think I should be worried, I mean, if I need antibiotics wont I need them as soon as possible?

It took them over a week, and me saying 'I still think I have a UTI' and another test with leukocytes for them to finally give me antibiotics. And at that it was only because I had been admitted for high BP and headaches! They hoped it would help the headaches. :rotfl:

Doctors have to look at them first, even if they are clear. I called up for DS1's results on Monday and the receptionist said they look clear (no culture had been done) but the GP has to look before I can tell you that :D

Remember to drink loads, get well soon xx

Talking bout bottle and breast, I was told you can't mix breast and formula with DS1. I wanted to give him a bottle at 2 weeks old when we were still in hospital as I was so tired, he was feeding for 2 hours and I was getting no sleep, and 4 hours later they came to watch me give him another. With DS2 it was that cow that tried to bang his head and my boob together that ruined it.

This time I am going to try but I have plastered all over my notes that I have to be left alone and not touched at all during feeding and that if I decide to give expressed or formula and breast feed next feed, I will be doing it. I may have put down that anyone ignores this and I'll sue their asses... :rotfl:

Taken some co-codomol so I'm all hot and sleepy, trying to drink loads to stop my BH  Still getting them but at least they don't hurt so much. But when I try to walk I get one and have to stop dead.

And my hands and face and cankles are swelling up with the heat, can feel them tingling.

    Tesco online shop time.

OK, I hate to ask stupid first timer questions again, but if I've been having painless BH all day and now they're hurting, does that mean something's happening in there?

dunno... but if they are regular and getting more painful you should give them a call.

Tia - is your hosp signed up to the baby friendly thing? part of that (I think) is that they shouldn't touch you or baby without asking if its ok.
anyone I've encountered now and last time asked me first, I have no problem if they ask, just don't go presuming like the nasty family planning doctor who thought it was ok to just shover her hand up my lady bits when my coil was stuck  rude cow!

    Hi
Ladies still so hot here feel like being a kid again and running around in just my knickers. According to my Mum i stripped off when we went on a famiy hoilday to the isle of wight as soon as we got of the ferry( She claims i was 16 sometimes thhough i sure it was more like 3). However if i do it now i may put our patients. Just read it's meant to rain between 4am and 7.00am over london. Never been so exicted over rain before !!! I am sure it's hotter inside than it is out side.
