SS - I'd be wondering how come she's remembering the specifics of YOUR bum, eh? That she'd notice if it got bigger? Honestly, I don't think the nurse in our surgery remembers my face, much less my bum! LOLI used to have a wine glass that would take a whole bottle of wine in just one glass
DH has a wine glass that he has dubbed "the fish bowl" - it's quite large. Although mostly filled with cola these days!
Somnium - are you already in a council property and waiting to move up to a larger one? we were in this position and were told it would be years (this was a few years ago), even though we had a baby. We were told the baby didn't count as a "whole person" until they were at least a year old. So we weren't overcrowded at that point, according to them. (we were actually told that we would be waiting 8+ years) So we went through a council swap and got a larger property that way instead in the area we wanted to move to. It was fairly simple, although some paperwork to sort through. We certainly don't regret it!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

Glam - I still eat ice cream, even though I have the GD. I buy magnum type ones - so that it's portion controlled - and eat it directly after a meal. It doesn't mess up my sugars. The first couple weeks you'll be experimenting anyway to see what puts them up and what doesn't. And what you can substitute to give you leeway to have something "naughty" in exchange. lolMSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Thanks Somnium and Glam, the above details are only the half of it.
Brief outline: Bought Jamestown set of wardrobe, changer and cot then got an undercot drawer, mattress and seat part of the pushchair (wanted chassis as well but it went out of stock before I got to checkout). Bought through website and it said delivery would be following monday. Arranged for mum and dad to come and wait for it but half turned up the previous thurs with remainder coming on the Friday. Neighbour kindly took it in for me.
When we opened it to check, the wardrobe had many small dents which I said i would put up with as they couldn't seem to deliver a replacement on a day when I would be home. However I needed an extra dresser door and side panel. The cot also has damage but again thought it would be easier just to put that side on the wall and send the photos of the damage. Under cot drawer has 3 visible sides. All 3 were very badly scratched and they agreed to send an entire new door.
Spare parts were delivered including side panel, Wardrobe door??? and whole new undercot drawer. Side panel is worse than the original with a very large split all the way up through the front, needed dresser drawer not wardrobe and drawer seems to be ok.
Phoned again and they decided to send an entire new dresser, apparently Quality checking it before it left the factory. Even then I had one side panel that is not perfect and even with 4 spare handles I could not find a set of 8 which are correctly bevelled or not scratched, chipped or otherwise marked. I will be asking for another set of handles to be sent when I ring next week.
The wardrobe, although put together by a trained carpenter, only sits square when you prop up one of the feet, the doors are not even when hung and the top of the wardrobe is badly warped, although it did fit together when forced. I was several screws short but thankfully I had some left over from previous projects.
Whilst the boxes were slightly damaged this was not in the same places as the damage on the wood and it is clear that the damage was done prior to packing and that there are some major quality and inspection issues which need to be addressed.
The entire reason for going to mothercare was that I was prepared to pay to avoid the hassle that I knew I would get if I bought from Argos, however even they would have sorted this out by now and it would have cost half the price.
I will say though, that from a distance, the set does look nice and seems fairly sturdy. Its just a shame that up close the finish lets it down. And it is definitely not worth £600 for the set.
God, sorry, that turned into a right whinge. However I think I will use it as the basis for my email.

Harley, I personally would want to send the lot back and get a full refund! You're very patient.Too many children, too little time!!!0

Believe me, I had thought of it. If dad hadn't spent an entire day trying to sort it out and having all the replacements delivered to his house to help me out I would have. But he has been a godsend lately and I don't want to seem ungrateful by asking him to do it all again with a new set.Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

It's either that my bum used to be an aesthetic marvel that she could not help but stare at, or that my maternity pants are now sprayed on because I refuse to buy the next size for the last couple of weeks.
I'm going with "marvellous bum sadly enlarged". It makes me feel a bit better.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
