Newbie was originally hoping for 9months but not sure we survive that long, will have to see if the council finally come through with a place for us once they know am preggers ( have been on their waiting list for 4 1/2 years and we live in the tiniest 1 bed house would be a real sqush with bubs plus our dog.) Also we possibly could suspend our IVA which is a big chunk of our monthly payments, but we're just pushing back the payments. Luckily we have lots of family/friends that want to help us out, and I work for mothercare and have slowly been filling my bottom drawer with sale bargains hehe.
Ooh, how exciting! You can tell us all about the bargains when they come up!
Just watched Masterchef and those roasts look so good. I had couscous and veggies for tea, again. Nice, but not that exciting. I just cannot be @rsed to cook at the moment.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi Somnium.
How lucky are you? I wish I could have grabbed all the bargains, I always seem to just miss out. Apparently my shop just sold the last Humphreys Corner dress less than 30 mins after I went in asking for it today.
Can I be cheeky please, and ask if Mothercare have any sort of compensation policy regarding their complete inability to supply me with undamaged furniture? I am currently on my 3rd delivery and even that is still damaged and i will have to phone to arrange for more spare/replacement parts to be sent. I will complete the build on saturday so I will ring after that when I know exactly what the problems are. When I rang the first time I spoke to a lovely lady who said that when I was completely happy to email with photos of the problems and they would sort something out for me. Any idea what sort of 'something' she might have meant. My order was approx £800 if that helps?

yes to a bath but what do u need a ^V thingy for?!!!
My BP monitors batteries died and I have no more as DH needs them for his xbox controllers  But it takes a 6v supply. I didn't look for one though. Had a soak and used my scrummy sanctuary salt scrub so I'm all oily nownewbie_maz wrote: »I don't know what's happening! I'm eating more fruit & veg but more junk too, and i'm doing much less exercise. And i do have a proper baby bump now so the only reason i can come up with is that i'm losing the weight elsewhere. OH says my bums smaller but i think it just looks it cos my belly's bigger. And there's no reason i should be losing any weight anywhere. Oh well, guess i can't complain!
When did you get weighed? I put on about 10lb before my booking appointment due to bloating, then lost it all and more for 20 weeks. I'm pretty sure I'm now well over my booking weight though! :rotfl:my feet are roasting - when I walk I can feel the fluid jiggling in my swollen feet!!
And cooling them in water only works while they are in water, they heat back up and then some! I hate hot feet!!! :mad:0 -
Too hot. Blech.
I can't remember if I posted earlier. My doctor told me there's no reason I shouldn't go to term and then lectured me for wanting to have it all over and my baby here now.
I do know it's better that she cook as long as she needs, but this is the longest pregnancy my family's ever had, I was expecting it to be over by now and so all this time feels like extra time, not regular pregnancy time.
Then the nurse told me my backside's got much larger, and when the CTG picked up two massive contractions in 20 minutes suggested I take magnesium to stop them happening. I'm already taking 6x magnesium pills daily per their advice. No more.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

It was from before i even came off the pill. I had a plan at the time to lose a few pounds before getting pregnant (but OH's sperm didn't give me chance!) Then i weighed 9st12lb, and i was measuring it every week for a good few weeks until i found out i was pregnant, & have weighed myself a few times since, & all i seem to have done is vary between 9st12lb and 9st13lb. i did go up to 10st1lb a couple of weeks ago (but that was the week we got back from our all inclusive holiday so i can't blame the baby!!) and now i'm back to 9st13lb:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -
Harley which cot/furniture have you got? Thats awful that after 3 deliveries its still not right, is it being damaged by the courier or is it manufacturing issues? Generally as long as you are well mannered and have a genuine issue then customer services will offer some compensation, as for how much I couldnt say as we dont usually get involved with their side. If your issue is with a store then its down to managers discretion. If your unhappy with what they offer you then say so, sometimes they will offer more to appease and maintain reputation.
If anyone is after bargains then I'll happily keep an eye out for you, especailly if its something specific your after. There are some nice Maternity Jeans at half price atm, as well as the bra's previously mentioned by someone else.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
