my feet are roasting - when I walk I can feel the fluid jiggling in my swollen feet!!
Mine do that too!!! I was trying to explain it to someone at work today. It's like the shudering of having thunder thighs, but it's your feet. Lol! Very weird. :rotfl:
Going to go for a bath now (and attempt to shave my legs). People were asking to see my swollen ankles today, but I was too embarrassed to pull my trousers up! Not that they are really bad you understand, but not totally smooth! I'll shut up now...0 -
Glam -congratulations on the job, the benefits do sound great
Somnium - in the same boat money-wise. my employer has pretty good company maternity (6 weeks full pay, then 20 weeks smp + 50% wage, then 13 weeks smp) but that means i have to go back for at least 3 months afterwards otherwise i'd have to pay the extra back. how long you wanting to take off? i wanted the full year in an ideal world, but OH doesn't earn enough to keep us all for 3 months, and i can't see any chance of me saving enough beforehand to tide me over.
xx:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -
Why not have the fruit and 1 scoop, compromise!
cos fruit is full of natural sugar! I'm not even hungry to be honest but it's the thought of being good for a change!!!
How are you feeling?
Sm - thanks! I'll need support
Fitzio - I think I need OH to give me a 'trim' - I can't even see my foof anymore but I know it's gonna be like a jungle down there. Legs and armpits I can manage - justA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Maz - see my sig? I saved the £2300 since Jan when I found out I was pg otherwise I wouldn't be having any time off as I just get SMP and OH has just lost his job! Now with SMP lost and MA - I should be able to have 6-7 months off instead of the 9-10 I wantedA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

i really don't know what type we need to look at & seem to get more confused the more i look. want it suitable from birth obviously but ideally for as long as possible. no set budget but want best value for money. and suitable for most situations, cos we'll be taking it places in the car but i'll be using it on public transport too.
xx
Maz, I think it's difficult to recommend prams as they all seem to have good and bad points to me. I have yet to find what I would think is the perfect one, but just picked what I think will be best for me and took into consideration what is best long term (pushchair being more important than pram as it will be used for longer). I bought the Loola Up which I think we got for really good value. We also bought the carrycot so it does make a nice pram too, and Cabriofix car seat.
The downside of mine is that it's quite heavy, so wouldn't necessarily be good for public transport - that wasn't a consideration for me.
If you want one for getting on and off buses, do you need one that can fold and unfold one handed? I wouldn't know where to start with that as not looked at it really.0
