Have a read of this thread

MSE Webmaster is aware but it seems to be an ISP conflict.0 -
I've had the same problem since firday see: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=176365.
I've been getting round this by VPN'ing into my office network - so I'm sure it must be IP oriented.
I'm also with freedom2surf - I used to like them but they are now annoying me!0 -
I've just merged these two threads together
Sorry if it makes them more difficult to read0 -
Well I'm posting this using broadband but it's slower than dial-up!
I found a thread at adslguide on this problem
http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=f2s&Number=2354107&page=0&view=expanded&sb=5&o=
and tried one of the public proxy servers given in the link in the 4th post (posted by onlynik) and it works, albeit a little slow (read earlier posts in the same thread for how to change to proxy server).
I'm using 195.248.97.249 port 8080 but perhaps another might work faster.0 -
Hope you have read all that sra as you will no doubt be needed later0

I'm back on dial-up just now cos it's quicker.
Just one thing that seems odd. The public proxy server address I used seems to have disappeared from the list I got it from unless I somehow missed it.0 -

Hi folks
We're aware of the problem and we're in working with our ISP to try and find out exactly where the issue is. At the moment, it looks like it's wither with Pipex or BT but nothing's certain.
We'll update when we know more.
