Hi Michelle, have you got a farm shop nearby? as for the last 2 weeks have have bought all my fruit and veg there for 5 of us and it has worked out a LOT cheaper than tesco. I used to go to a grocers but that was quite expensive, the farm shop is definatly cheaper,
I got two massive caulis fro £1.20 and 2 huge cabbages for £1, six large corn on the cob for £1.50 last weekend, I find that I work my meals around whatever are the best deals that week.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

That'a a beautiful blanket...very pretty...you could sell those quite easily.Imay be interested for one for little granddaughter...is that cot or pram size?
you are doing fantastic with your payments..it's hard when you have little ones needing clothes and stuff and one wage to stretch...you are doing amazingly0 -
When does your freezer on ebay finish? Great you've had bids, I wouldn't have thought of trying to sell one of those on ebay but whatever it makes is a bonus. Glad you've had a better day and good luck with the blanket - I think people like to buy hand-knitted/handmade items especially for small people so I feel you'd sell it no bother.0

sorry to hear you are not feeling too good..hope it passes soon.
As for the blanket I've no idea of the price as I've never seen one like it but it's absolutely gorgeous.0 -
Hello,
The blanket is beautiful and is inspiring me to get my needles out - not that I am any good at knitting - I tend to lose concentration and forget the pattern. Just wanted to pop in and say how well you are doing in making things stretch, especially as it is so tempting to buy things for the children. It never bothers me not having things for myself, but I am often tempted to buy goodlies for my children and grandchildren that they really don't need!
Have a good day,
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
