Wow I take a few days off and look what's happened!

Well done on the amazing Freezer sale - Ebay strikes again!

I echo loudly what the others say about the blanket. It's gorgeous, You're very clever and oh so patient to do that. I've always paid and asked someone to make my baby shawls as although you can buy them they are nothing like the HM ones, so there is a market for them.

My shawls are always white with a plain knitted/ pearl square middle (which would be very quick to do) and crochet around the edge, I like tassles on them too which takes longer but it's how far you want to go with it. I pay about £15 for these which I know is cheap but the woman who makes them for me is sort of family. If someone wants one them they will pay whatever as the lovely ones are hard to find. £7.99 is much too cheap.

It's great to see an idea come together like this isn't it. I'm all excited for you now :)

only 70 odd days to christmas.... ouch. I been good this year with the sales/glitches on the grabbit boards for the kids but some adults are harder to by for than others.

Can I ask about the kitchen, how big is it and what are you getting from howdens? we have an eye half on a repo/ex rental that is a bit wrecked plus we have seen 2-3 big houses that need a full gutting so i'm now wondering

  • Blooming ek, I don't read up for a few days and the next thing I know the kitchen has almost got the green light and you look like you are starting up a business!

I have a 6 month old niece that I would be interested in purchasing a blanket for for Christmas, the world is your oyster on here.

    You go girl

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
The kitchen sounds gorg michelle :)
Also had to get really grumpy with DS2 this morning. He is obsessed with drawing on my furniture and we paid £4k for solid oak stuff when we got it.

Ouch! On the bright side though, with it being solid oak you can sand it down and re-varinsh it at least. When DS2 has learnt that while you'd be more than happy with him becoming a famous decorator he's not to practise on the furniture.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

your pricing does sound reasonable. Remember you will need packaging and postage too so maybe another 3-4 quid?? wool can be quite heavy I think.

I was just coming on to tell you. Have you noticed there are quite a few of them lately.
Sad about the cat, do you have a local animal shelter or something I would say the council as a first port of call as someone needs to collect it, they could probably tell you who to call.

Its the council cleansing for the cat. They remove as a matter of urgency as not to scare children

Glad you found out who needs to pick up the cat as it's not very nice for children to see.
Well done on the weight loss.
Looks like you've got plenty to occupy you there with the books, magazines and clearing the garage.
