Just got up to £10 on daily scratchcards for the first time. Withdrawn that back to the CC. That will be a bit of a help.
Hi Michelle
can you explain what scratchcards you do please? How much do you get a month?

hey michelle
gosh you do sound busy! hope DS settles soon with the long week at school, and you get at least a little lie in on your weekends!
sad about the cat- hope council sorts it asap as not nice for little ones to see, I will have a look at the blanket as 3 of my friends have recently had babies .. off the top of my head prices sound more than reasonable for something homemade
well done on the wt loss- and good luck on the challenge! theres nothing like setting myself a challenge to make myself do something :rotfl:0 -
I do scratchies too. I do littlewoods bingo and OH does butlins but its me who actually does it. pays around £10 every 3 months so £40 a year £80 as we both do it, that being said I have had a £100 once and OH gets lots of £5's and £1's so we are sitting about £170 for 2010 already with OH on £9.60 somthing and i'm on £6 something. We might be able to squeeze another £40 in withdrawals before 2010 ends so it is worth it as only takes a few seconds a day.
Gotta love 'free' money. Do you do pinecone?? or shop and scan/consumer pulse?? I do all three getting cash into paypal, amazon/argos/high street vouchers and TBH looking at being a mostly neutral pressie cost for christmas.

How dare he leave you to do the washing up! Neither wonder he's getting no sympathy :rotfl:
Good old MIL - they are good to you aren't they (as long as they stay out of your freezer & front garden)

Hi Cha,
Just had a quick sim through - you sound like you've got loads of ideas on the go and thanks to whoever mentioned free Ebay this weekend. I've never actually used it before but I guess if it's free I've got nothing to lose!
I'm wondering whether you could push your blanket prices up a little bit. I saw some cot sized blankets in the Cath Kidston shop in Leeds last week, they were £30 and yes, they were very neat and made with a lovely soft wool, but they weren't handmade and they were only stocking stitch patches, nothing fancy. I'm sure Mr Big mentions something about not selling your stuff too cheaplyUpdating soon...0
