Michelle I think you need a break. You sound fraught and exhausted. Can you hubby arrange a MSE sty;le treat for you?? Maybe we should all concentrate and pass him 'I need to treat my wife' vibes. Even 2 hours of undisturbed time where you could soak in the bath an have a cheeky glass or two of vino followed bed and a good nights sleep.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I think DS2 is an age thing. My DD2 is being a little ...... at the moment. clingy, demanding, headstrong, not sleeping right etc etc.
My OH much the same, he is an HGV driver but only short haull so leaves 4am most mornings and can be hoe anything from 1pm to 6pm, he does do what he can but really needs to be asleep for 9pm. It's hard no doubt about that.
You need a break really bath then bed, if you OH not working on saturday morning get him to deal with boys on Friday evening if home and deal with any wakenings unless your presence is really required. a good 10 hours should start to refresh you.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

I had tummy ache earlier too. I blamed the reduced plums from Mr A that I bought the other week - they are still hard somehow and I ate several then felt very uncomfy. So, when I felt better a few hours later... I ate another one :rotfl: Is that too much money saving?Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Hope you're feeling better, think there are few bugs flying around at the moment. 30k sounds like a nice barrier to break. My fruit and veg consumption is awful too, it's so hard to eat as much as you're supposed to.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

I am going to try and get some housework done today too but its seems such a waste on your days off
but it has to be done, our home party is next weekend although we will have the whole friday to do it as well so will prob do all the big jobs today and then a 'top-up' clean on friday.
Hope you feel better for the party tomorrow, nothing worse than a load of kids and feeling poorly.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Almost at the end of my first year of my new and hopefully final mortgage. On a fixed rate deal 3.99% for 2 years.
Santander allow me to make a maximum overpayment of 10% of the capital balance each year, so with this in mind, I paid them £4500 by walking into one of their branches with my mortgage account number to hand.
Mortgage payments each month reduced from £310 to £277 and I hope to make another 10% overpayment early next year when I am in to the scond year of my mortgage.
My target is to be in a position to be mortgage free by the end of 2015, just over £39K to go and it will probably result in an early repayment penalty but there is more to life than being a slave to a mortgage.0 -
Well done to you - keep at it! Hope you all enjoy the party tomorrow,
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0
