Trouble is it never feels a lot when you are living it. Easier to see it when written down.
Some lists definitely needed, or perhaps i can go with a mindmap a la memory girl.
I was thinking when I read your earlier post that some lists were needed. If you do do mind maps I'd be interested to hear how you get on. Haven't tried one myself yet but did buy some very nice pens
. I'm a big list maker of big lists and find it helps to keep me a bit organised at least.

lists are essential. If I don't list nowt gets done.

Oooh, having the kitchen done will be really disruptive, but you will be all done for Christmas and you will forget about all the hassle. Let's hope this week is fun and MSE. Some sunshine would be nice to keep the heating costs down too!
Best wishes,

A lot of the lost jumpers that we get given to reunite with members of the form have had the kid's name or initials (in in the case of large families with reasonably unusual surnames, just the surname) written onto one of the labels inside the jumper in some kind of pen. Might that be an idea if DS objects to the presence of the sewn in label?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
HI Michelle :j
Hope you are well?
CAn I please ask a question? Where are you getting your new kitchen from? OH & I intend to get ours done next year, but are debating where to get it from, and who would install it...
Hope your freezer sells quickly
Good luck in your journey..

Sounds like you had a very constructive Sunday - I like those kinds of days.
At least the freezer has gone now. We had a very large chest freezer inherited with the house. Initially thought the vendors were kind to leave it in garage till we realised how much electricity it used and we could never fill it! I would happily have accepted 99p for someone to take it off my hands!
Yay to the new kitchen, I have wanted one for ages but need a new boiler first as ours is set far back in a cupboard. Will be so worth it when it's done, exp as it will be in time for Christmas. Re: installation, it always seems to cost more than the actual kitchen! Not long now tho and the dream kitchen will be yours!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Sounds like a lovely day. I never get to feel christmassy till much closer to christmas but i think being surrounded by the lovely shop displays helps. Once Hallowe'en is out the way it seems to be christmas all of a sudden!
Great news on the freezer! Does it still have some time till end of auction too? I really am kicking myself now for the amount of stuff we have scrapped/given away over the years. You can literally sell ANYTHING on Ebay!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Happy October ...how quick did September go!
Everything seems to get expensive at this time of year although I do find that my food shopping budget reduces due to making more stews etc. At least you should have a new kitchen in in time for Christmas. How wonderful will that be.
You'll reign the money back ...you always do!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -

Again i hope my money from dooyoo comes soon. October won't be cheap either. We need to get the new cooker ordered and also pay for DS1s birthday party. Although only 3 people have had the curtesy to reply so far, so maybe it won't be too bad.
Morning Michelle :j
Am sure you will manage no problems, once again this month!! You always do!
Will ahve to have a look at Dooyoo, i have never been on it!
have a great weekend
