It's so tiring for them with a new routine but they'll soon get use to it. Just think that it's only weeks off the school holidays at the end of October. Not long to go.
How exciting about the kitchen and choosing your new appliances.
Have you noticed lower gas usage since you had the boiler / bathroom work done?I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
That's pretty impressive. It'll be interesting to see the winter use cost.
These new boilers / freezers etc really save energy/costs these days not like the big box things we all use to have.
I ,like you, would also like solar panels , turbine and so on in my home as the cost side interest me... more so than the environment which is awful to say.:oI can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
Hope you find the jumper! Boys eh?
I sometimes think that way about spending esp if i've recently sold stuff and then [STRIKE]buy a treat[/STRIKE] waste money. Feels like a waste of time but i'm sure the children would have enjoyed it.
I have paid my first student loan instalment this month (i graduated 2004 then did another degree) but not sure the £13 i paid will even cover the interest!! Must be a nice feeling knowing that yours is nearly paid.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I had a mega effort at Dooyoo last night and have finally reached the payout for the £50 cheque. Hope it doesn't take too long to come. :rotfl:
Well done - must feel very satisfying, is it earmarked for something?

I'm not allowed to tell anyone else at the minute as the mum has to contact her family first, but i can't wait to see her when we visit next weekend. At 9Ib6oz, she won't be small for long.
I'm wondering to myself how all these babies that we know of that are appearing are so big, especially for 1st ones .
I was thinking exactly the same Michelle. My nephew (born in July) was 9lb 6.5oz and a friend had a boy on Wednesday who was also 9lb 6.5oz. Both first babies :eek:0 -
Hey Michelle
you are doing great! I always find it inspiring how much you manage to get done and creative ways of making money! when does your work on the kitchen start? I too am trying to get a load of precooked stuff ready for the winter! My cupboards look like they are stocked up for the next year now!
I hear you on the whirring brain, need to start some lists methinks!
