Deffo bath wins hands down - I've given up ironing am afraid as I can't stand it and only iron if its something like interview clothes. Mind you I haven't had a bath for many years as I can't stand them either and am a shower person instead. But whatever you choose - enjoy

Its a nightmare isn't it when you don't want them to nap but you don't want a grumpy child. We have had really early mornings just lately so think we need to move bedtime back a bit. I had a nightmare with DS hiding his school shoes this morning - the crosser I got, the funnier he found it all. Kids eh!
Yay for all the money coming in!Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
MFW target 2012 to save £11,000 for Over Payments/fill ISA's and reduce lots of things - outgoings, alcohol, waste, weight0 -
How pants about DH's car! You're like me, you get money in with the left hand and it goes out with the right hand. Fingers crossed it won't cost too much to fix.
Sounds like you had a busy morning so hope you enjoyed having a slob this afternoon!Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings

All I can say, from the lofty view of a mum of teenagers is enjoy the life you're having...you have security as you have savings, your mortgage is small enough for you not to HAVE to work - I look at my two and wonder where the years went...
on tv tonight something was said about only being here once... OHO
and boy does the time fly...
so I am just reminding you to enjoy it...I know it's hard work - but it is less hard than being in the rat race and picking up from childminder's/nursery and running around like an idiot at the weekend

And in money ying yang - i just checked quidco and i am due a payment of £20.02 at the end of the month. Cool. Another small payment for the mortgage.
I had 10 hours sleep last night :j after our busy day trip to London. was so chuffed it was a gorgeous day.
