As one who suffers from depression can I ask why you are so anty going back on the tablets? I only ask as for years I didn't want to take them, however I have realised that they make me feel on a 'better level', i've got to the stage where I don't care as long as i'm well.

Hi Michelle,
I've suffered from depression in the past and I still have a tendency to get very low if I'm tired. I understand your reluctance to take ADs though as I'm of the same mindset, as illogical as it may seem to others. What I find really helps, and I'm really not making light of anything here, is that I get enough sleep and that I do some exercise. Life with two little uns is very demanding and it drains a lot out of you and you need to be selfish sometimes and make sure your energy is being replaced.
That said, my mum has long term mental health issues (manic depression) and when she finally cracked it with the right medication about 3 years ago her life was transformed. Far better to spend a few quid a month on prescription charges than live in a permanent fog.

Hi Michelle
I've changed my user name due to family stalking but bet you can guess who I used to be - long time no speak. Thanks for commenting on my little ones picture the other day, surprised you didn't know but have been keeping a low profile on here and Facebook till then. He's 5 months now and a beauty! Would appreciate it if you could keep shum about my ID :silenced::o
Just been reading through your thread and you are doing amazing! I've just started a diary on the DFW but hopefully a couple of months and I can change it to and MFW diary.
You cope really well with your two on your own so much, I realise that I'm really lucky in the help I get so I think I need to get a grip and stop moaning about it. My older DS is at pre-school every morning and must admit its a bit of a life saver for me, I'm so much better with him and have more time and patience with having that break from him. I don't have so many bad mummy thoughts now. When does your DS start or are you not sending him?
I know so much what you mean about how your feeling, I've had a head cold for about 2 weeks and only just feel like a human again. I've just decided to cut down on booze and sugar and its made a massive difference to how I feel - I'm less of a shoutie mummy now.
Anyway, will be reading with interest and hopefully can keep commenting but really think you need to give yourself a big pat on the back!!

Oh and yay on all the house work. Yes it will be a pain having it done but it will be so worth it when you're finished - just think about having a lovely hot bath in your new room - bliss! cha, I feel exhausted just reading what you do in a day! Isn't it funny how the busiest of people seem to think they are not very productive..you deserve a big pat on the back.
