Thanks for that Bookie, I guess its the little things that are praying on my mind like dentist appointments as DS2 will be having a fixed brace on soon and if its pouring down with rain (I know, I know) but these are the things that torment me.......

OH gets up, washes face, pickes up packed lunch (which I have made) goes to work and comes home with a meal ready.........not a care in the world:rolleyes:

if you want it go for it Lou. my DS has to walk lots of places in the rain and doesn't seem too bothered - except when it ruins his hair obviously!
My DS is already looking for more independance and I think he'd be happy enough coming home on the bus if he was at secondary. Your lads will have some adapting to do but things can't stay the same for ever or we'd all die of boredom. You sound like a close and happy lot so I'm sure you'll work it out.

I would be earning more and yes I would consider a cleaner, there is also a laundry service in the next village who I may even consider........

I am not going to Leeds Beanie.

Hi Lizzy69. Well done on getting through you DMP.
Presumably when you say you are making the last payment is that because you will have paid everyone you owe it in full? Or is it that your minimum payments will now be less and you can afford to pay them 'normally'?

Your credit history will not be wiped. Each entry stays on a credit report for 6 years so whilst yours will gradually start to improve it will be another 6years before some of the current entries drop off.

The new letter doesn't sound like great news do you (or does OH) know of any debts that you didn't include in the DMP? Was the letter from a creditor or DCA that you or CCCS have been dealing with?

You may be better giving your CCCS advisor a call about this or posting on the ask CCCS counsellor a question. Be wary that if this is a new debt that has 'crawled out of the woodwork' and theyhaven't been in contact for a while they could be chasing a statute barred debt. Therefore don't admit liability for this debt until you know more about it.

This is where I get confused, as I thought it was from the original default date and not the last payment date

Was the letter from a creditor or DCA that you or CCCS have been dealing with? All debts were included in the DMP and as I didn't read the letter I can't honestly answer but my gut feeling is it was a DCA

Lovely doctor just phoned. He says that if I nip down in the next hour he will squeeze me in between phone call to give my leg another blast and it should then fall off!
