They were great for a while.. but, I dunno, I think it's run its course. Been avoiding confronting it though as I know it won't be nice

Not much I can say to that so have a dodgy hug :grouhug:

Not confronting it though is just letting it drag you down...

Thanks so much for your thoughts on this everyone, I know I have alot to think about but my gut instinct is to go for it.

The additional role is what I am really interested in and wonder if it is worth gritting my teeth in the short term to reap the rewards later.........hey I coped with 2 kids aged 1 and 3 and worked, and ran the house and studied for a degree........

Maybe its time I busted a gut for myself this time:rotfl::D

There really is no one more worth busting a gut for in the long run...

Thanks guys, I really don't feel upset this time, just worried about the fall-out as I know he'll react badly (even if he does feel the same, he likes to be the one who makes decisions). I've already moved on in my head, just need to face up to it and sort things out.

I know you are talking sense Bookie, I just feel a bit guilty:o

maybe thats just a Mother thing. I have always put their needs before my own. I have worked evenings, weekends and even did a degree where I would do my assignments at 4am so that I didnt disrupt anyone elses life.

I know where you are coming from, trust me. I did the same sort of thing - worked my heart out for my family and gave up opportunities. It was worth it for the girls and I don't regret it but look at the mess I'm in now!

If there is a way to work it all out between you with no ill feeling then go for it. After all the lads will have to look after themselves at Uni and could do with the practice.:D

Thanks for that Bookie, I guess its the little things that are praying on my mind like dentist appointments as DS2 will be having a fixed brace on soon and if its pouring down with rain (I know, I know) but these are the things that torment me.......

OH gets up, washes face, pickes up packed lunch (which I have made) goes to work and comes home with a meal ready.........not a care in the world:rolleyes:
