Lou, I know how tough it can be - I have spent years trying to do it all....OH is fairly useless but the girls are good and its still tough.

All I would say is that a cleaner has been the best thing I have ever had and has made my life a whole lot easier.....

My instinct is GO FOR IT!!!!

I have mentioned a cleaner before but OH says that he would be uncomfortable with it:o

Thanks for that Bookie, I guess its the little things that are praying on my mind like dentist appointments as DS2 will be having a fixed brace on soon and if its pouring down with rain (I know, I know) but these are the things that torment me.......

Why - because he knows he could be more helpful?

He says he doesnt want people we dont know in the house cleaning:confused:

I know, its a bit of an ongoing battle in the house about the allocation of chores but I have always worked less hours than him so this has been his arguement for years.

To be honest I think he will be against the idea if it changes his routine (goodness this is awful he is a kind man but just sort of stuck with what we have always done IYSWIM)

Basically he doesnt respond well to change:rotfl:

In that case I really think the best thing (and I don't want to sound too touchy feely here) is a family conference to put your point of view forward. This is your happiness over the long term you are talking about ...

    Hi everyone :hello:

Sorry to butt in, I don't even know if this is the correct thread, however can anyone help me with the following please?

    Background
We have been on a DMP through CCCS for nearly 6 years, our last payment will be the end of this month :j To protect me, DH told me very little as I do get worried over the slightest thing. Of course things did come to a head and he nearly had a nervous breakdown, I then had to be strong to get him through the initial period to start and re-build our lives. I still don't know to this day who we owed what to, although from our monthly payments to the CCCS I have a very good idea of £'s.

What i'd like to know is:

    1. Will our credit history now be wiped?
    2. Only yesterday another letter turned up (didn't read it) but think it was something like please confirm you still live at this adress kind of letter (it was addressed to DH). Will these keep turning up even when the DMP has come to an end?

Obviously we want to move on now and put the debt behind us, but would like to know if there is anything that we can do to stop these letters?

    Thanks in advance

But how would he respond to a happier, more fulfilled Mrs Lou?

I agree but I need to be prepared for the resistance I know I am going to get:rolleyes:

It is all hearsay at the moment, courses may not run, I might not get the additional job but I would like to think that I have the support of my family if things do happen.
