Running with a group sounds quite jolly - is there an accommodating cafe for when you're a bit grubby?
CbmJan 08: Debt £15,211  Debt cleared April 30th 2010Proud to have dealt with my debt! Currently building up savings.:TWith enormous thanks to everyone on the forums and:money:0 -
lem's car misbehaved and cost more than planned! Also took longer but as was off for 2 days then away for the weekend the nice guy from the garage dropped it round home ready for when i got home.
I survived my trip to the outlaws, barely. But have come home with a stinking cold.0 -
ooooo the outlaws, you are brave lemontree: my ex outlaws used to hate the sight of me so I stopped going lol, at least the garage brought your car back ( was it much more than they said?)
Depending on where we run depends on if there is a nice cafe: the woodland centre is pretty good, and the cakes are fabulous.....mind you, Tesco put up with a heap of dripping sodden runners in the cafe and no body made any comments:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
the car was a bit more than expected but he did find that the water pump also needed replacing. So as his initial quote was about £80 less than the main dealer i'm going to assume that the water pump also cost less from him than it would have done from the dealer. And he dropped it off before i'd paid for it which was good of him so need to call him to pay what i owe.
Not sure if i'll be invited to outlaws again but it won't be a great loss.0 -
Oh dear, was it something you said????
Am off today to start on the DD's christmas shopping: all budgeted forProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

some things that we both said. But hey needed to be done, and now we can get over it one way or another.
good luck with your christmas shopping rather you than me.0 -
It's soooooo much easier when they don't talk to you;)
Spent first part of the christmas shopping budget, 2 more shops to do apart from the food and it should all be sorted -ish. Need to check in the garage for any christmas decs that the ex let me have and see what I have to buy.
I have planned for this just don't really fancy doing itProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

i've still got some chrissy shopping left to do, but it's for folk who say they don't want anything, don't you just hate them! lol also need to finish off for OH. feel like a trip to matalan coming on. We don't really do too much chrissy food as just give my sister some money as she does the cooking on christmas day. also if you buy it then you tend to eat it so i'm working on the not buying it policy0

Oh yes, then you have no idea or even a hint of what to get them.
Not getting much christmas food this year, as it will be me and kids ( and they don't do huge meals) and my sister ( who is dieting) so nice and simple.
Realised that Tesco is more expensive than Adsa .....or at least it is here . Asda is a 20 min journey ofr me, and there is no aldi/lidle which is annoying.
Did weeks shopping for £45, which is a pain as I know in Asda I can do it for just under £30.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

hi, i've always been shot down both at work and with my mum when i've argued that tesco's is more expensive than Asda, but strangely enough my mum only said this weekend that she won't shop at tesco's anymore cos it's too expensive. I'm lucky though that, although they are 5 miles away, we do have asda, tesco's, lidl and aldi and if i go on my way home from work i also have access to Morisons.0
