Birdie - My mum started doing that! I have to admit, I kind of like the after math of it, all the clothes neatly hanging. And that ironing smell! Pretty jealous of your free subways vouchers, I say you should go get one!

My brother wants in on my homemade subways now, so I'll have to get slightly more than I thought. Still, cheaper than a bus fare! He says I should offer to make it for my sister too and charge her £10.38  You can tell I've been on a diet, first chance at some junk food and I can't shut up about it! :rotfl:

LOL! I'm afraid to say I had junk last night; we went to see Harry Potter (and I finished the book in time! I had to read the last 9 pages in the cinema and got to the end just as they dimmed the lights!), we only had 25 minutes to eat before the film started so we went to Burger King and shared the mini angus meal thingy (6 teeny burgers, too cute!) and we had onions rings and cheesy bites. Really bad stuff but tasty!
On the subject of reggae reggae subs, I found the birdseye reggae reggae chargrill thingy's in the supermarket the other day and bought them in a flurry of excitement, think we'll have them this weekend at some point! Mmmm! It's all about my belly at the moment!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Do either of you know when the official weigh-in day is for Dinah's challenge? I could just ask this on her thread, in fact, I probably will do! I weighed in this morning (I usually do on a Friday) and I had put on 1lb. So I'm hoping I can lose it before Dinah's weigh-in day, otherwise my sig will look very bad! :p

Talk about timing Birdie with that book! Was the film good? Cuz people on facebook have been saying that the book is better than film. But then, that's usually the case anyway!

I like Burger King, but for some reason there aren't any in the south of the town which is very strange! But good for my diet. :D

My credit card balance is up too £329 now, with £55 clearing. Paid for my parents weekend away for their birthdays ect. 3 nights in a lovely hotel in Cornwall, looks so romantic! Works out at £90 each, my brother should be paying me back this week *i think* but I can clear mine and my sisters share for £50pw. So, aiming to have it cleared by the 8th August. All shiney and empty for paying mine and OHs weekend away in December.
My savings are going to take a back seat though, but whenever my sister gives me her £90 I'll be able to put it right into savings/towards mine and OHs holiday. Sorted!.. She says :D

Fab timing with the book Birdie! Looking forward to OH getting a car so we can go see it too, my sister said it was great.

I never go to Buger King, don't like their chips! Took me 2 years to accept KFC over McDonalds. Feeling better today Zig?

Your parents weekend sounds lovely! Sounds like you have a plan to get it all paid off.

Burger king chips are the best, they are all crispy and nice compared to mcdonalds.

Thats it I think, they're too crispy! Was bought up on happy meals so used to heavily salted fries!

I'm pretty jealous of their weekend away, it's at Camelot Castle in Cornwall. I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that things go to plan!

Hey TPA, you've found me! :D

Decided to join all the challenges next month, NSDs again, 100 day challenge, payment a day, £5 a day and at the start of next year the 4k for the year challenge.

Going to try and save up to pay my parents next years board in a lump sum. Will aim for 6 months board at first, just to give me an extra £30 a week next year to save up for holidays/put in the ISA. So with an extra £800 to save on top of holidays and christmas savings (Just figured out, bar my brothers, I have all birthdays sorted for this year!) I need all the money saving challenges I can get!

On the brightside, with all the extra savings I won't have any spare money for junk food. Lovely!

Still no news on OHs car, hoping for him to get out and see him tomorrow. Should be seeing him next Friday though, fingers crossed!

    Morning!

Starting my mini challenge to bring me to the end of the month of only buying things I need, basically petrol and food. Which will be hard with all the sales!
Yesterday I pulled out all my cosmetic boxes and took stock - 3 pages! Adding it up I have over 2.4ltrs of Shampoo  plus 2 blushers, I don't even wear blusher!

Plenty to do at work this morning, just need to drag myself off of E4 free games, Super Stacker 2 is addictive!

Going to do my spreadsheets tonight and sort out my budgets for the next few weeks (I think i can limit spends to £30 a week, with £20 being petrol ) then I'll post all the shiney new targets and what not up.

For what it's worth, McDonald's chips are best!

The money plans sound good Cinny, tis good that you've got everyone's birthdays sorted! And good luck with all the challenges!

Are you missing your OH? I found that it did us good when we couldn't see each other for a couple of weeks! :p

That's a lot of toiletries! I had to do a massive clear out a few months ago, it's so annoying chucking loads of make-up that has gone funny but never been used. But good to have a clear our every now and then.
