I think, on the other challenge thread, they were talking about August 1st for the next 100days. Keeping my eyes pealed though!

It's a 2005 Renault Megane he's looking at now, from the same place and still 0% finance for 5 years. We've decided that when we move in together we'll put the payments onto the household costs, as it'll be 'our' car rather than his then. I won't be on the insurance though Zig, I've only got my CBT!

I know that feeling Tete! I think I was in work last Monday for about 2 minutes before I thought 'was I really on holiday this time yesterday?!' Stoopid work!

After we booked the hotel for my parents we found [STRIKE]some[/STRIKE] many weird reviews, saying the artist who owns the hotel tells you you have a nice aura and offers to take you into a special room to see his light box  Ooerr!

Glad to hear the brown vanity case is nice Zig, was getting worried after all the reviews! :o If the stuff's nice I'm going to order a few more bits for people in the office and OHs mum + Grandma. Last year I gots OHs mum some Covet by SJP perfume so I need to keep up the classy (but nicely cheap) looking gifts :D

ETA: Wendz, you should sneak in some slippers and a hot water bottle! I can't believe it's July, the weather is like September and the nights already seem to be drawing in :( Still, perfect for PJ afternoons!

Do you want to learn to drive? I think it's a good idea sharing the costs and the sharing the car, cuz then he can't get protective over it or anything if you did wanna drive it! My OH and me split the cost of our car like 60:40, yet he seems to think it's just his.

Ha, that hotel owner sounds strange! I'd be a little creeped out if I was there!

The brown case is quite unisex, but it's practical, and if you fill it with lots of lovely stuff then it doesn't matter so much that the case itself isn't pretty, as such. I usually sort out my OH's Mum's christmas present, and it's usually Boots sanctuary stuff! I'm gonna order more when the peppermint foot stuff comes back in stock. The only problem for me is finding where to store it!

I need to clear my wardrobe out to start making room! I managed to hide everything at the top of my wardrobe last year so I'm hoping for the same this time. Last year when I was new to the MSE ways I got carried away with bargains and everyone got loads, but this year I'm planning on one fab present for each person (alright... maybe 2! :D)

I want to learn to drive at some point, but I'll more than likely leave it until I'm living with OH and can't rely on lifts from my family anymore. I'm pretty much in love with my Vespa though (when the weather is good!) so I think I could manage :D

When we saw the reviews my sister wanted to cancel, but as my brother pointed out my parents would love that. Plus the hotel looks far too pretty to pass up on.

I think me and OH, and also me and my siblings, will agree not to get each other something this year. Just cuz it's cheaper and easier! I love getting people presents, so I know what you mean about trying to hold back! I need to start putting some savings away for Christmas. Cuz I hate it when you don't plan ahead and then end up spending your entire month's wages on presents. In December. :santa2:

Yeah that's fair enough, driving is really expensive too!

As long as your parents will like it then that's the main thing! :)

Urgh, I'm freezing and just wanna stay in my duvet all day and not go and wash and straighten my hair ready for tonight.

ETA: I'm sure once you've had a shower you'll feel a bit more willing to go! Like you said, you'll love it when you get there. I feel like that everyday when I need to get up for work.

I said to the girl I work last month 'Only 6 months till Christmas!!' she said I'm worse than a 5 year old. I do love Christmas though. Only 164 days now, I think :D

Talking of Christmas presents I've just been on asos and seen they have a Disney Couture bangle my sister wanted for her birthday reduced to £18 (It's the 'think wonderful thoughts' one) going to faff around with next weeks budget and see if I can afford to get it and put it away for her. Just seen some shoes she'll love as well! This is the problem with being close to your sister. I spend as fortune on her when it's her birthday and christmas!

I'm trying so hard to cut back this year, I have a feeling it isn't going to work!

Yeah I know you're right, it's just the getting up and doing it! I have crawled out from the duvet though, so it's a start! :p I need to go and tackle the kitchen. Fun times.

I love Christmas too, it's definately my favourite time of the year, even though the last few years it's just been me, OH and the cats! I have persuaded the family to have Christmas down here in 2011 so I can join in with them lol.

Aw that's sweet of you! I like the bangle! I tend to spend the most money on my Mum. I never know what to get for my sister! I think I'm gonna make the effort more this year and do her up a body shop bag lol. But I'll tell her not to get me anything cuz she's just bought a car on her own so she has a lot to pay out for. She's so good with money! She saved up like £2000 to get a car. All I did was get into debt!

I don't think the cutting back is gonna work either! If I save up though then it won't be such a shock to my money system! Btw, what do you get your OH? I hate buying for guys, it's so difficult.

I don't tend to think of xmas till after my birthday in October. I am starting to save though, am using all the change in our change pot, nectar points and am going to save amazon vouchers when i have got wii fit.

Myself and OH normally get each other clothes, although we pretty much end up picking them ourselves.

This year I'm paying for his half of the holiday in December, but I'm going to get him some new shirts too (he wears Martin Lewis style ones!)

Managed to figure out all the presents I need to get. So many! Need to keep my eye on snapfish for deals as I'm wanting to get one of my grandparents wedding photos printed onto canvas. Need to get all my ideas down before I forget them, then I can spread the cost/keep an eye out for deals.

The Body Shop stuff is here, I quite like the vanity case! I agree though, it does need padding out a bit!

That's such a genius idea! I never know what to get grandparents, but that is perfect! Can you make a note on here if you see any deals then I'll see it! :D

:rotfl: I too love a list making session! I made a list a while ago of all the stuff I have in my cupboard with their Use By dates, but I've lost it! Once I've washed my hair and had lunch I think I'm gonna make a christmas present list, you've inspired me Tete! :p
