I've gone one up from a list Tete, it's now a multi paged spreadsheet with colour coded totals! :o

I'll make sure I let you know of any deals Zig!

Still got an hour to do on the treadmill, blah!

I made a list a while ago of all the stuff I have in my cupboard with their Use By dates

Goodness!! :rotfl: That's one bit of Extreme List Making!!

An hour on the dreadmill Cinny?! Eeks! Walking or running? I read today that four hours of cross country hiking burns something like 1300 calories!! :D Hurrah for my new deluge bottoms!

I go at about 4 miles an hour. Enough to get me out of breath but not so I fall on the floor in a heap! 1400kcals burnt would be nice, but I doubt I'll get much past 200!

Going to go into town tomorrow morning so if I go the long way there and back I can skip the dreadmill tomorrow. Yay!

Had a very lazy morning today, got up about 8 and basically just read until I needed to set off for work. Very nice! Plus I didn't do my normal Wednesday morning walk into town, so today should be a NSD too

Good news at work too, I've been asked to work all week the first week in August, should get about £190 after tax :j Just got my wage slip for this week too, a few more pounds than normal which isn't anything major, but it sure is welcome.

Just worked out the budget for next week. So far it's looking like:

    Current Account - £55
    Wages................£144
    Total..................£199

    Outgoings:

    CC Payment........£50
    Board................£30
    Phone Bill...........£26
Spends..............£10 (lottery, petrol, sweets for the cinema)
    Sister................£22
    Total left...........£61

£61 should be more than enough for emergencies! Hoping I'll actually have some to move into savings next week

Your morning sounds lovely! Think I might build up some flexi and take a day when OH's at work, just to indulge myself!

You sound very in control with the week's budget, you make me want to get my spreadsheets out! Any news on OH's car?

Sounds like a lovely morning. I could do with one like that!

Sounds like you are organised with spends too. Nice to have a bit extra just in case and you are chipping away at the cc well!

I much prefered it to my normal Wednesday morning, rushing around trying to get everything done all because I tell myself I 'need' a shopping fix! Think that might be my new Wednesday morning routine. Was lovely!

Wendz - I figured I should just chuck all my spare money at the CC rather than splitting it with savings. Plus I freak out when I see the balance! :rotfl:Still, it's for my parents and they're worth it (I suppose:D)
(from reading your thread) Are you feeling any better today?

Tete - He's going to look at a car on Saturday, he's already been to see it once but he wants to test drive it and so does his mums boyfriend so hopefully they'll get it sorted and he'll be back on the road within a week or so! Get to see him on Saturday too :j Been 10 days since I saw him!

Going to be a tight couple weeks with clearing the CC and OHs new car stuff, bonus is when I get the extra wages for over time I'll be paying the last of the CC - (which will be £39 instead of £50) So if I behave I'll be able to treat OH to dinner out. Saying that he's been eyeing up the Chinese Buffet near the cinema that's only £5.50 each, it's hardly breaking the bank, but still a treat!

ETA: Plus it's our 20month ann, so surely that deserves a Popcorn sharer from the cinema too?!

Our chinese buffet by our cinema costs about 15 quid, so that is a bargain. Thats London for you!

I am feeling a bit better thanks. Just trying to stay calm, don't know why I keep getting so worked up.

Blimey! It's things like that that put me off the idea of living in London. London with Yorkshire pricings would be nice!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, a cuppa wrapped up in a duvet always helps! (That is drinking a cup of tea while wrapped up in a duvet, not a cup of tea smothered in a duvet.. I think that would be kind of messy)

Haven't actually done much work this afternoon. Basically sat here playing Sushi-go-round on E4 games since 12:30 :o I'm so bored! Haven't even seen a human face for 3 and a half hours.
Haven't even thought of a good reason to leave my desk, I've pushed my chair out to a bit of a clearing and had a good spin but I just feel sick now. :o

Looking forward to going home and finishing my book off!
