    Hi Cinny!

That's good that you have money to roll over to next week or pay off your CC with. And you're building up quite a stash of pressies! Very organised! That Additions deal was good, I might have to have a look and see if there's anything I can get for a christmas present! :D

Hope you're having a good day!

    Hey Zig!

I didn't have a proper look around but they sempt to have some good stuff for gifts! Just hoping I don't cave and give them the stuff as soon as it gets here.

    Has your flu cleared up?

Been talking to OH and we've decided the week after my CC has cleared (22nd-23rd August) we're going to have a meal out with both sets of parents as even though we've known each other for 5 years, they've never met! How bad is that? So looks like my savings are going to be on hold until the end of August now.

I always cave in and give presents early, it's not very money-saving!

Yep the flu has gone now, except a stubborn sore throat...I'm gonna have to have a hot honey and lemon soon. Urgh.

That's a good idea about the meal. My OH's parents and my parents have only briefly met, they haven't had a conversation or anything. So I'm thinking they should probably meet properly! But my Dad has decided he doesn't like OH's Dad cuz he was a bit rude to him when they met. So I've decided they can stay away from each other! Fun times.

How much do you need to save for the meal?

That's not too good Zig! I'm hoping they get along, they all seem to share the same interests so I don't see why not. The meal should only be £60-£70 for us all, no where fancy just one of those 2 for £10 kind of pubs. Might not be until September now cause OHs parents are going away that week. We'll figure something out I'm sure

Just spent another £3.95 on amazon for an iPod armband, will stop spending now! Just going to get my board out for my parents in town today and cancel out the £10 spends as I've well and truely pooped it. Oh well, at least I'll be able to go running without my iPod falling out my pocket and ripping my ears off!

I never knew you had a thread missy! Going to go read back over it now.

BTW what happened to Darcy? He'd be a great form of weather when it ever stops racing. Look at all those men on the tour de France, whippets the lot of them.

Be careful Dinah, my ramblings might make you slip into a coma!

ETA: And they have fantastic legs! Problem is Darcy is a 3 speed so I can't go like the clappers, I still go into town on him which is extra exercise. Need to get into leisurely country rides and what not. Would drag my mum out tomorrow but she's watching the end of the tour

Hey! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one whose parents haven't met her OH's! When we were moving in together they managed to miss each other, OH's Mum stayed out of the way when she knew my parents were helping because 'she thought she'd be in the way'...i.e. she was hiding! They're going to have to meet before we all go away for the wedding! I'm a bit worried because they're complete opposites! When I'm back home full time I think I'll have to organise for them all to come round for dinner!

Don't tempt me with money off codes, I need to stop spending! I've not been too bad this week though, only about £4. It is the weekend though... argh, I need to find a way to have a No Spend Weekend!

Eh? Do you mean he'd be a great form of transport if it ever stops raining? Or am I missing a cycling subtlety?

Mine and OH's parents haven't met either. I think my dad and his would get on, both very working-class Labour type northern men. but they're both pretty quiet so it might be one of those awkward situations! His mam would just natter on though to fill them I think.

That's why I'm going to go crazy with exercise/dog walking tomorrow Birdie, need to stay away from the grabbit boards and there lovely codes! Trying to be completely no spend (bar petrol) until next Friday.. this could just about kill me.

That makes me feel a bit better Birdie! OHs mum was going to stop by tomorrow when she drops OH off but my mum got a bit scared I think so I called it off (she gets major stressy, had a weird week and I don't want to add too it) might suggest going out with OH and his mum to the pub up my street for a drink though, seems like ages since I last saw her! Which would ruin the NS week.. but shh.

Decided on tonights treat if I do the Pilates, treadmill and skipping. One solid hour in my room reading my book, I normally sit downstairs with everyone else and read but I never read more than 5 pages as I end up getting distracted by Corrie. Perfect!
