Paris sounds nice. you are all very generous. Think we just got my Mum and Dad a photo frame for theirs hehe.0
-
We're less generous than we sound! It's going to be about £90 each from me my brother and sister. Which only works out at £30 for each for their birthdays and 25 years.
Done the housework, having sit down before I go on the treadmill! Still have the ironing to do, and make tea.. and other washing to sort out. I feel bad for my mum now! Still have last weeks psychoville to watch... which isn't as important as the others but still!
For the urgent jobs I just made the job out and gave it to the other office woman to sort outHow are you feeling today Zig?

It's a bit of a shock isn't it when you realise how much Mum's do! I sometimes look after the house and cats at Christmas while the rest of the family go up North, and it always surprises me how much there is to do!
I'm feeling quite a bit better today thanks Cinny, except for the past 10 minutes my back has been hurting so much! I'm currently propped up with a ton of pillows which seems to be helping
I love buying family presents and treating them. I definitely think that giving is better than receiving. Most of the time anyway!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Had a NSD yesterday :j No such luck for today as I've ordered some bits for christmas off of Body Shop (Zigs fault!) Got £41 worth of stuff for £10 so that's the girls at work sorted.
Paid my CC off in full too. Forgot about ebay charges so that's £1.10 coming out my bank account, with what I've already spent this morning I'm left with £66 for the week. Big drop from the £85 I was hoping for  But next week I should have plenty of pennys to move into savings ready to pay for mine and OHs holiday in December.
My sister is sending her boyfriend to look at the Paris late deal for my parents today, if the hotel isn't that great we're going to book it ourselves but if it is we're going to nip across tomorrow and book it.
Really horrible weather today, needed to go into town to get my board but I figure I can leave it until tomorrow.. Roads are flooding already between my house and the office. Boo!
Glad you're feeling better Zig! Did you manage to start any books?0 -

:rotfl: Sorry, but they were bargains! What did you buy?
Well done on the NSD and paying off your CC! Does that £66 have to last until Monday?
The weather is awful here too, I'm glad I'm stuck inside! Where are you and your OH going in Dec? I remember Disneyland being mentioned but then I think that changed..
I'm 32 pages into 'Sushi For Beginners' by Marian Keyes. I don't know why but at the moment I just don't seem to be interested in reading. Maybe I'll force myself to read some more later so I get properly into it.
Hope you have a good day!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I got the vanity case and the coconut gifty thing. Got cashback and the 15% extra off though, so it wasn't too bad.
We're going to Ribble Valley in Lancashire, been there before and it's really pretty, All rolling fields and old houses, should be lovely in Winter!
The £66 is to last me until next Friday, best thing about weekly wages! I figure I'll only spend £10 tops, unless I end up buying more early christmas thingsSo plenty to move into savings.. she says.
Blessing of the horrible weather is I'm not even slightly tempted to go into town shopping. Need to go on the way home to get my board out but that should be it. So I'll put a dvd in and finally tackle the ironing (after 2 days of putting it off )
List for today
Clean Downstairs
Attack Bathrooms
Sort out Washing
Ironing
Make Tea
I was going to treat myself to a subways today but it turns out the one in my town has shut. Fab! So I'm going to make my own reggae sub, did it before and it was lovely! Just need to get a baguette and I'm away. Erm, and maybe some lettuce...0 -
It is a good deal, I've just checked Quidco and £4.84 has tracked from Body Shop. :T I did that Time magazine thing too, and I have received the first magazine, but is it on the 4th that you send the slip backing saying you want to cancel? Or whatever it is you have to do, I can't really remember!
That sounds like a nice holiday! As long as the weather is just cold and frosty. not cold and wet! Nice, cosy little getaway though. I want to go on holiday with OH but he's talking about buying a car soWe had an argument about it cuz he asked what I thought about a £2k smart car his mate is selling, and all I could think was 'that's £2k that could be going towards the house deposit!'
I think I'm gonna lose this argument!
I so wish I got paid weekly! Lol, I'm sure you'll do fine and have loads to move into your savings by the end of the week!
I never do any ironing! Even tho I have recently got a new iron and ironing board. I only really need to iron my clothes for school placements! I have just put some washing in so that's my domestic quota sorted for the day.You sound like you have a lot to do!
I love Subway, but hardly ever have it. But when I do, I always have Italian BMT with lettuce, sweetcorn and green peppers. I haven't heard of the reggae sub tho!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

The reggae sub is one of the limited ones they do, sure it has about a million calories but it tastes so nice! Really spicey and yum. I normally just get the sub of the day when I go, the Italian BMT is looovely though. Hungry now!
I'm terrible with ironing, I always manage to burn myselfI normally put film4 on or something an watch an old movie while I do it so I don't get bored. I only have a lot to do because I let my sister walk all over me, like yesterday she was out until 3am so I had all the housework to do instead of sharing it  Ho-hum, I might get home to find she's done it today instead though! She's cheeky though, she rang up and offered to pick me up but wanted £5 for it! (I think she's forgotten she owes me £20 ) Thankfully my brother offered to give me a lift home for free. Only bad thing about a vespa, when it's raining buckets like this I rely on lifts!

Oh dear, all of this talk of Subways and Italian BMTs (Yum!) is making me hungry! I've got vouchers for 2 free subs so I think I may have to make a trip this afternoon! Mmmmmm...
I can't remember the last time I did any ironing, OH and I are skilled at hanging clothes up when dry so they don't get too wrinkled! My excuse is that we've got a rubbish ironing board... but I'm in no hurry to replace it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'm hungry too! I have a choice of either sultana bran, special k bliss, or crumpets. Hmm, decisions, decisions!
I'd tell her she had to do her share of the housework! But then again, I end up doing my flatmates' share.
Me and the OH considered getting a vespa at one point, but we decided not to purely because of when it rains! Nice of your brother to give you a free lift!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
