Alias, i believe costs are capped and I don't think B&Q (OR THE BANKS) ever tried to countersue.

Dont want to be the one that posts up that we owe B&Q money for wasting there time.

just remember that B&Q lost. It wasnt a near miss or a 50/50, it was the facts. My advice, if you believe the arguments, go for it.

I thought (may be wrong) the whole point of the small claims track was that costs were not recoverable by either side as it is cheap justice for members of the public. Can anyone confirm?

Just filling out the moneyclaim form, the letter i sent B&Q pointed towards the newsound price of 375.60, however i can now see it is available from Kingdom Appliances for 349.99 should i stick with the 375.60 price as per my original letter and claim for 286.60?

I would move to the cheapest price you can find with stock, as they may know this and attack you on it.
