Yes, they have changed the T&Cs, but they haven't applied them to their older site (which is now mostly for reserving and collecting in store), so they are currently operating two sets of T&Cs.
The old ones are still available on the old site, but they aren't easy to find!0 -
actually, if you look at your confirmation email it has a click link to the terms and conditions. so if they pull the new ones out of the hat, they couldnt as their email links to those of old.0

Prices and Payment
The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are as set out on the site are inclusive of VAT. Delivery will be charged in addition, and any such additional charges are clearly displayed where they apply. Prices and delivery charges displayed are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom.
B&Q cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). Upon payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive the e-mail, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.
Credit and Debit Card Payments
All card payments (with the exception of Time, Amex and those by Customers receiving a VAT invoice) are processed for you by B&Q Card Services Ltd (B&Q CS Ltd.). You pay them a 2.5% fee, which is included in the total; the balance is paid to B&Q plc. The total amount you pay is the same, regardless of the payment method.

Our returns and refunds policy
Our returns policy is in addition to your legal rights.
Products Purchased In-Store
B&Q is happy to exchange or refund the price paid for any product bought from a B&Q store if it is returned unused, as sold, within 90 days of purchase. This is subject to the following conditions:- Products which are made to measure, cut or mixed to your requirements cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless they are faulty)
- You must provide your original sales receipt as proof of purchase. If you are unable to provide the original sales receipt, B&Q will issue credit vouchers to the value of the current selling price of the product. B&Q credit vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable.
- Other than where credit vouchers are issued all refunds will be provided using the same method of payment as your purchase. If the purchase was made using a credit / debit card, the same card must be used for the refund.
- We may ask for identification (proof of address) to help combat fraud.
- B&Q reserves the right to refuse an exchange or refund with or without a receipt.
Faulty Products
If the product you purchase is faulty we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights. If help is required, please call the number given on your Customer Sales Advice or sales receipt to arrange for the return of the product to B&Q free of charge.

Products Delivered To You
If you buy a product which we deliver to you, you may cancel your order (or any part of it) for any reason before delivery or within 90 days after delivery by:- returning the product to your local B&Q store (you will need to bring your sales advice and the credit/debit card used for payment); or
- calling us on 0800 3895516* emailing us at home.delivery@b-and-q.co.uk, or writing to us at Doncaster Customer Services, Catesby Business Park, White Rose Way, Doncaster, DN4 8DG to cancel the order (or part of it) and arrange collection.
This is subject to the following conditions:- The product must be unused, as new, in saleable condition and returned with the original product packaging.

- If you return the product to store we may ask for identification (proof of address) to help combat fraud.

General Conditions
We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of B&Q.
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.
We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. Natural products may show some colour variations. All sizes quoted are approximate. Where B&Q agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.
Before working with electricity, gas or water you should always consult an appropriate professional electrician or CORGI-registered plumber. Always read and follow any relevant manuals and safety instructions. When working with electricity always turn off the mains. In connection with building work B&Q cannot advise on planning permission or building regulation issues.
The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary planning permission and local authority consents and permissions for any work to be carried out and allowing B&Q or its agent to inspect these prior to the commencement of work.
Any plan drawn by B&Q is, and remains, its property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without its previous written consent.
B&Q will do all that it reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of B&Q, B&Q may not be able to do so. In such circumstances B&Q will contact the Customer and agree an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can to enable the delivery to take place on the given date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Customer the Customer may not be able to do so. In such circumstances the Customer will contact B&Q and agree and alternative date.
As soon as B&Q has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and B&Q will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage. If the Customer delays a delivery, B&Q’s responsibility for everything other than damage due to its negligence will end on the date B&Q agreed to deliver them as set out in the contract.
Ownership of the goods shall remain with B&Q and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to B&Q, have been paid in full.
To the extent permitted by law, B&Q accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a consequence of the advice provided.
These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
Contracts are made and accepted subject to these Conditions of Sale. Contracts that are made in Scotland shall be governed by Scottish Law otherwise this contract shall be governed by English Law and no other.
In these terms and conditions:
"B&Q" means, B&Q plc and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;
"We and Us" means B&Q plc either alone or together with you, as the context requires;
"Working day" means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;
"You" means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;
